feeling very good about myself

Over the last 2 years, I have come out to 4 lovely people, my aunt, my best friend, and 2 childhood friends. What I found was very supportive and understanding friends and family. These 2 childhood friends of mine have a gay cousin who is active within the LGBT community so talking with them now is not going to be a problem anymore. I feel so liberated and myself now. There have been some life changing events that got me here. The first was coming out to my aunt, then my best friend. Both of those have set me free. Then I got a call from these childhood friends and I told them about my feminine side and they both took it very well. They do ask me questions and I am up front and honest about how I feel. As I progress, my mind has been forever changed as well. More feminine and myself. Also, all you very fine and supportive ladies have helped me to grow emotionally as well into Andrea. What can I say about that other than a big thank you. I know my journey has begun in earnest and there will be no turning back now because I just can't do it. My confidence in shopping has been helped by you all here. So many new doors have opened for me now. I am so glad to be a member here.

I think being happy with ones self is perhaps the most important thing in life. And it's really nice when people whom you are close to can accept who you really are.

Oh Andrea dear, that is so nice. I can feel your happiness in reading your posting. Plus I can relate to the feeling, in the present day. I am so happy for you that you are getting excepted by those who mean lots to you. It will only make you feel happier in life, day by day. And it started by coming out to your self and believing in you. Oh I am so happy for you.

That is great, Andrea. It is what we are all hoping for; it comes sooner for some of us, and more gradually for others. But it is a goal worth working for, for all of us.
