Dressing 24/ 7
Ladies,
I thoroughly enjoy dressing as a woman. I feel completely relaxed.
Also I make a nice looking woman, cut 10 to 15 years off of my age.
I am retired.
Do you think I should dress as a woman 24/7?
Some comments please.
Thanks ladies.

Re: Dressing 24/ 7
Martha, this is really more a question about your interpersonal relationships than it is about the clothes. Do those closest to you know you prefer a female presentation? What about extended family, neighbors, casual acquaintances, merchants, service providers etc? What if you have to go to the hospital, or a funeral?
It is a big commitment.
Or, is it?
You are retired, so you you don't have to worry about repercussions from your employer. Your time is yours to do what you want. From your posts about your many role playing adventures it is obvious that at least some people already know you as a person who likes costume play. You could just decide to live as a lady who every once in a while likes to dress up as a man. How about just keeping a stash of drab clothes in the back of a closet for emergencies?
I'm on the cusp of retirement as well, and have been to enough funerals recently to be well aware, life is short. If you feel like you might like to live 24/7, and that it won't isolate you (always a danger for older people) then go for it!
And, if you occasionally have to put on a pair of pants because the plumber is coming, I promise I won't turn you in to the IBCCCE. (International Board of Crossdresser Comportment Compliance Enforcement. They come to your house in the middle of the night, and snap your bra straps until you turn black an blue.)

Too much interpersonal involved.
Unless I was away somewhere where no one knew, it would be OK.
So, this is forgotten

Nice post, April - and I particularly like the point about isolation.

Martha -- you do present very well based on your pictures. It is now that you get to the balancing act. You can dress 24/7 but to do so may require some tweaks. When you are in situation where you need to exercise caution, you may well have to switch to what I call 'cognates'. This word is normally used to describe words in different languages that are the same or similar and are the same thing .. like cat in English and chat in French -- both our feline friends. Anyway, you can wear womens pants, shoes, blouses, etc, with subtle makeup, be fully underdressed, and no one is the wiser. It kind of depends on how much your femininity is dependent on appearing fully girly. I look at that is in this way -- girl wear pants etc and no one say anything about it. So, I can do just as they do and does not diminish the girl I am inside. Admittedly it takes time to get to this level, but you can do it!
