Made my own hip pads

Great to hear Lily. I have been watching the same youtub videos and am shopping for the padding.

How thick was the padding you started with? How much does it compress when you have the pads in place?

The most common technique I have seen is to keep the in place is to keep them inside a panty girdle. Is this what you are doing?

It starts at about 2 inches. One 2 foot by 2 foot standard foam pad runs about $10 or $11. I keep it about 2 inches at the hip area and trip it down to a thin half inch at the ends. They are tough to cut. I fit them in a pair of Spanxs that were just a little large for me naturally. They don't compress too much. less then a quarter of an inch.

I made my own hip and bum pads from a tan pillow case and pillow stuffing, the pads start at my hips and end just above the knee and tapered down at the knee and the bum pads are circular and fit over my bum, the only problem is I need to wear a pair of tights, then leggings, then a pair of tights over the top. Because I like a tight skirt they work really well but then decided I needed to make a gaff, which was really easy to do.
