Thigh Highs

I know this subject has probably been discussed before but I couldn't find a thread so here goes. I bought some thigh highs last week to wear to church as my mother feels a lady always wears hose to church. I got some Legg's Silken Mist and frankly I love them! Much cooler and comfortable than pantyhose although I can see there are outfits they would never work with.

Do any of you girls wear thigh highs and if so what are your favorite brands?

I don't wear them all that often, but when the occasion calls for hose I do prefer thigh highs and I've been through a lot of brands. Having them run after a couple usages is common for me, even with the expensive brands, thus I generally pick up some cheapies at Walmart. For a couple dollars I seem to get the same usage out of a pair of stockings than I do when spending triple (or more) than that amount.

I have been wearing thigh highs for probably 10 years now and have tried just about every brand on the market. The ones from WalMart are OK for everyday however for dress I generally go with Names Silk Reflections. They are sheer and hold up well if you are careful and hand wash them after every wearing. Legg's Silken Mist are good as well.

I'm not a real thigh high wearer, I generally wear pantyhose when I wear hose. That said if I wear thigh highs I prefer Hands Silk Reflections, particularly the lace top style. I know the BF loves them on me.

I love thigh highs when I can find a good quality pair.
It seems like selections are pretty limited in most department stores, so you just have to keep your eyes open and buy them when you find them.
Consequently, I don't wear them very often, but it's nice to have them in your stocking drawer for a special occasion.

Personally I prefer pantyhose because I find with a snug pair of panties and good control top pantyhose I don`t generally need an extra layer of shapewear to keep things situated. I have and will continue to wear thigh highs when I wear a briefer as it makes things less complicated in the powder room. When I do wear thigh highs I usualy go with Leggs Slken Mist as I find them comfy and stay up as well as I like the shades offered. I probably should add usually wear the same Silken Mist when I wear pantyhose.
