Caitlyn wants to be Bruce again?

Post by Anne Bonny »

Not sure of the accuracy but the so called "gossip" sheets seem to be fairly accurate lately. If so then Bruce Jenner is just another example of not understanding who you really are. I know on balance I am masculine gender, feminine is less than half of who I am judging myself over 58 years objectively. I may fantasize about being a woman, or wonder wouldn't it be nice to really have implants, and the surgery which would make my genitalia appear female and function in a simi similar way but I am a man on balance and these procedures do not change any of it.

For some surgery is the correct choice for flamboyant effeminate homosexual males whose voice and the very air around them ooze dripping femininity...it would be up to them if they would be happier and they probably would be if they transitioned.

Some of us...If my brain functioned more like a females, and my gender on balance was feminine it would probably be a correct choice for myself.

I have no criticism for Bruce if the story is true...all I can say is the psychiatrists blew it ... they gave him what he wanted instead of explaining to him why they could not approve the surgery.

But who cares what I think? Who am I? Oh well this place gives me a place to express a thought so here's one.

I read something similar. Based on what I've read so far and assuming that what I've read so far is true, I am in agreement with what you've written.

Hopefully it's .... hopefully? the vicious attacks swirling around Jenner are just mean... so considering that hopefully this is just malicious and untrue...Here is a you tube 3 mo ago when Caitlyn appeared on Ellen....after watching that I think I am going to see if I can find anything else because here she seems quite happy. Caitlyn even shares this has been a life long struggle...talks about living as a recluse in Colorado in the 80's wanted to transition even then but couldn't. So...how could it be that after going through all of this she wants to transition back? I am not convinced.

Ah! here's the story! It was just a malicious story by the STAR check gossip cop site found via google search and states the story is indeed false. Caitlyn is NOT planning to transition back to being Bruce!

You know that is mean! The story does say the LGBT community

"Caitlyn Jenner does NOT “want to be Bruce again,” despite an outrageous tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the report. We’re told it’s entirely false.

http://www.gossipcop.com/caitlyn-jenner ... ransition/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The new issue of Star, which was released on Wednesday, alleges Jenner is “questioning her decision to change her body — and life — so drastically.” Not only that, but the magazine goes as far as claiming the transgender star is “seriously thinking about reversing the transition process and becoming a man again.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Caitlyn wanted to be a woman her whole life, but now that it’s happened, she’s disappointed.”

The disappointment is said to stem from Jenner’s supposed loneliness and backlash from the LGBT community. And though the former Olympian has repeatedly gushed about her love of makeup and dressing up, the tabloid’s “insider” claims, “She wanted to know what being a woman was like, and now that she’s become one, she misses the old Bruce, who didn’t spend hours getting glammed up every single day.” Star even has the gall to speculate that Jenner may be just a “confused cross-dresser and never truly trans.”

The offensive story also suggests if Jenner “de-transitions,” she “may have to give back the Glamour Woman of the Year Award she won,” and claims she’s already “confessed to some members of her family that she’s considering becoming Bruce again.” But despite announcing a “sex change shocker” on its cover, the Star story is un-shockingly untrue, just like many other tales the outlet has published about Jenner since she came out.

Gossip Cop now checked in with a rep for Jenner, who couldn’t believe the tabloid actually published its “wants to be Bruce again” story. Sadly, we’re not surprised at all. Star, which was our worst offender for all of 2014, is often the lowest of the low."

Wow...Ok...listening and searching further I will stop because there are hard political attacks flying and I would rather avoid all of that but as a courageous person I support Caitlyn Jenner for her journey to be who she is just as we are all on a journey to be who we are. And I will drop it at this point.

I will add...Caitlyn is an inspiration. I had struggled as she did most of my life from the time I was a child and now we are both living our unique outcome. She transitioned, I am gender fluid and go with the flow mostly. I believe we are both happier and are moving on to the rest of our lives more openly though Caitlyn could not be more open. I do not believe politics should enter into any of this and it is sad that Caitlyn is reviled by the general public with all the bigots that is bad enough, but many in the LGBT community attack her too instead of recognizing and celebrating the fact that here is a member of our community who has struggled as we all have and has come out openly to live who she has always been. She has because of her celebrity brought attention to our tiny minority and has brought better understanding to those who are open minded which has nudged society into seeing there is something here they are missing, that is valid, and very real which should be given some consideration, that society should loosen up on our community. People can argue and disagree but she has nudged the line of social evolution and has helped all of us. She states openly it is her desire to educate and to hopefully bring more understanding and acceptance for the transgender community. I think what she has done and is doing should not be downplayed because it is huge and very positive.

I don't know that I would call Caitlyn Jenner an inspiration but she does have the opportunity to bring the plight of transgendered people into the spotlight and hopefully some positive reactions. The idea she would go all she has so far and then go back doesn't make any sense to those of us who understand from where she comes. I know once I came to grips with who I really was there was an inner peace I hadn't felt in years and I am sure Caitlyn felt similar. All I can say for Caitlyn is "You go girl! *-* Show them we are not those wicked stereotypes the world still seems to want to tag us with!"

I'm glad the report was false. Her history is just like ours...one of inner turmoil and struggle from a very young age...until you are correct we find inner peace with who we are.

Truer words were never spoken Anne. We must come to peace with ourselves before true happiness comes to our lives. Transition or SRS are not for everybody and I know that well but we must follow the path to our ultimate happiness.

As for Caitlyn Jenner it is not unusual for girls who transition to question if they made the right choice. I did as I know many others have as well. We all have suffered buyer's remorse from decisions we have made and transition is no different. The feeling passes.
