Internet Source For Short Skirts

Post by Martha G »

Ladies,

I have an internet source which offers nice skirts and dresses and house dresses. They are mostly pullovers and elastic waists.

But I do not see any short skirts ( knee length or above). I prefer elastic waists.

Do any of you know of a good internet source that sells short skirts?

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Well ladies I think I have found a site for what I need.

It is called Cross Dress and has short, mini, pencil and tight skirts for men.

The best part is that the skirts are all elastic waists and make for easy putting on and taking off.

I love the feel of a tight skirt around my knees when i walk.

You can try e(vil) bay. I have found many short skirts there. you can even narrow the search to mini and micro mini skirts.

Another site you may try is ALI EXPRESS. Prices look terrific. I have not purchased from them, yet.

Ladies, beware: short skirts and dresses are not for every body type, and just because they make them - or that you like them - does not mean one should actually wear them. [-( A good example of that are all the photos of WalMart customers that can be seen on the internet.

Have some pride, please, and dress age and body-style appropriate. [-o<

I tend to agree with you SL, way too many girls, well GG's too, tend to wear too short a skirt. I know I have seen some hams hanging out of the hem of a short skirt that Kowalski would be proud to have hanging in their window. After reading some of Martha's posts I think when she says a short skirt she means knee length, at least I hope so.

What you wear in the privacy of your own home is your own business but for heavens' sake think about what you are wearing if you are going out in public! Do yourself and everyone else a favor. Take a long look at yourself in a full length mirror and ask yourself "If I saw a GG wearing this outfit and looking like this would I chuckle to myself about how she looks?" Be honest with yourself! If the answer is no then go out and have fun but if the answer is yes, well ...

I just wanted to point out that there are lots of tasteful and stylish ways to wear a mini. Take a look at Outfit #3 about halfway down this page:

Nice link Linda. You are right there are classy and stylish ways to wear a mini and this blogger understands that. She has the looks, figure and legs to wear one and she does well. I do love the look with the thigh boots paired with the checked skirt and sweater. That said let us think about this for a second.

She is what late 30's, maybe 40 at best? She has a good figure and very nice legs. If I were her age I too would wear outfits and when I was her age I did. I was married then and yes my husband liked it when I dressed up for him. That was then. Now I am 62 and although I still think I am in pretty good shape there is no way I would wear something like that. I have past that point in my life and although I enjoyed it the moment to face Father Time is upon me. That doesn't mean I can't dress stylish and turn a few heads but in a more mature way. What would you think if you saw a 62 yo woman dressed like that? I know what would go through my mind and trust me none of it is complimentary.

Thanks Donna for the Youtube video. I may have to try making a skirt like that. It is pretty easy.

I have a school girl skirt from spencersonline.com. It is very very short, so I don't wear it in public except as a bikini cover-up when going to or from the beach.

Have fun,

I always try on my clothes in a store... Sizes are so different depending on the manufacturer.
Even in drab I try on . SAs are really good about it. especially in Dress Barn.

I want to add a word of caution here. I have, and I'm sure most of you have done this too--taken thousands of up-skirt shots of what we would call "hot women" over the years (or decades in my case).

Well gurls, turnabout is fair play as they say. So be prepared to have strange women looking up your skirt when out in public. They need to have their fun too, so be ready to provide them with that, if not, then don't wear that mini.

Just a friendly reminder from one who has "been there, done that".

hugs,
Deb
