Coming out to my friends
I could scarcely believe my luck last night! I was out for my regular Monday night karaoke with friends to whom I wanted to come out but had not done so because I wasn't sure how they'd take it. One of the younger women introduced a friend of hers who showed two of my favourite lady friends photos on his phone of......himself en femme!! They loved seeing them. So I showed them mine too. Now they want to meet Penny...

Re: Coming out to my friends
Wow, cool Penelope. Good for you
A great way to break the ice as being a crossdresser.
I have thought many times about expanding the circle of people in my life to learn about me as Lacey. I often play it out in my mind but when in reality among these other friends and family, I chicken out. But I keep on thinking about it and maybe one day sooner than later broaching the subject.
It's not as if I must tell others, but as life and time passes I feel in some ways not doing so makes me feel bad or out of sorts and that is not a happy moment
. To tell IMO has me think about it being liberating... But a lifetime of male society indoctrination and of keeping my cding and Lacey in the closet to all but a few people is hard to shake.
I see myself all dolled up as Lacey in a mirror and in photos and I say to myself, "It sucks that most people do not get to see her and in her feminine 'cuteness' nor get know her as she is really a fun, loving and softer side to my natural male persona."
I'm a relatively open minded, intelligent, polite and nice person in drab, but en femme any hard edge of being a male is beautifully and femininely smoothed out. It would be nice to share that with others in my circle. Hmm one day.

Re: Coming out to my friends
That's excellent, Penelope!
Like Lacey, I too have often thought about telling friends and family about Lexi... but never do. I've been close on more than one occasion, usually after having a few, LOL!
I was actually dangerously close a couple times this past summer, but fear takes hold and I'm afraid that if I tell, eventually it would get out (as these things often do) and the GF would hear about it. One day, I would like to come out, but I just need to wait until the time is right.

Thank you Samantha. I felt photos of Lacey with a sports cap on would look good, I believe I was right. As a Montreal Canadiens fan since my childhood, I recently found an NHL 1993 Stanley Cup Champions cap. It looks good on me in drab, but wowSamantha wrote:Lacy, that is Avery sexy sporty look for you!

BTW I'm liking your avatar pics put up too.

Re: Coming out to my friends
I'd love to show my pics on here but I might get recognised.
As I am known on other social media as being a woman!
I have photos up and no-one has ever asked 'are you a bloke?' Or even, are you a transsexual?
I'm not a transsexual but I do have a female side which is quite public!
Naughty. Naughty. ME!!

Re: Coming out to my friends
And Penelope, I came out after being very drunk.
I was drinking a bit too much back then, so I don't think I would have normally came out like that so brash.
I don't drink now. But I still don't care who knows.
The problem is, because one of my female personalities is accepted on social media as a woman, I wear a different wig and make up when I go out.

Re: Coming out to my friends
I won't say I ever get terribly drunk or that alcohol ever induced me to come out to anyone I really wanted to keep Penelope hidden from but it is true that whenever I have confided in a friend it has so far always been in the relaxed atmosphere of a bar after a good evening.

Re: Coming out to my friends
LOL
Samanatha, thank you
I have been told by friends both dudes and gals my male backside-et is nice, however what makes a difference for me enfemme is a padded panty. You can buy elaborate and expensive padding, but I found some good but not too extensive padded panties on eBay that are not too pricey. They help create a more feminine booty. I'd say enfemme as such I tend to have a girlish body that is of a female who has a boyish look. I'm ok with that.
But also how you pose in portraits makes a diff. I have at a time in my past been a professional photographer and have developed enough skill and vision to when I set up my camera on tripod and timer to make photos of me enfemme am able to push, twist and turn myself to more often than not look more feminine and if I want, sexy too.

Re: Coming out to my friends
Very nice Lacey, I bought a pair of padded panty gaffs, though it could use another layer it really does create a firm rounded butt. Hahahaha I have to say I now live in front of a mirror creating looks, talking to my girlfriend reflection all in preparation to go out
even before CD I was vain in front of a mirror. Now I am a mirror!
much love Samantha( am bewitched)

The only photo that is publically available is your avatar (if you have one). The photos in the gallery are designed to only be accessible to signed-in members. So the only people who can see them are CD-related folk.Kitty wrote:I'd love to show my pics on here but I might get recognised.

Re: Coming out to my friends
Penny, it seems women are more accepting of alternative lifestyles than men. Until it's their own husband/BF! It's been almost a week now, any more support or backlash?
