hobbies... I always said you have to have enough space or enough victims. Making terariums is out, knitting is out, beer making is iffy, and so on. So do I have a hobby? maybe it's making people crazy :) I like cooking, I like doing artsy fartsy stuff. I like creating stuff in general. I can't say I have a hobby any more.

What I was told ages upon centuries ago is that your advocation (hobby) makes up for things your vocation doesn't. Since I have no vocation, then can I have an advocation?

Hobbies, where do I start, bee keeping, motor cycling, gardening, charity work and home improvements. I never seem to have time for them all, I will have to go back to work, as I seemed to have more time for my hobbies before I retired.

Got away from the models, prefer photographing the full-size ones! I also sometimes explore the old RR lines here in NJ.

Like others I have had a fair share of hobbies. I enjoy Offroading, building model cars, Motorcycling, building cars, car shows, car audio, and obedience training dogs.

Hobbies? I'm kinda different in that I like to collect old political stuff, campaign buttons, campaign flyers or ads and other stuff like that. I say different because I'm not really into politics that much. Sure, I do my patriotic duty and research candidates and then vote my conscience, but I'm not what you would call a "political activist". I don't attend caucuses or political conventions, don't run for office, don't campaign door-to-door or on the phone. In fact, I try and avoid any political discussions at all, and if anybody should ever ask me how I plan to vote, I would say: "By secret ballot".

Other hobbies? Sure, I would put cycling right up there. I belong to a cycling club and spend many hours on my "2-wheeled Corvette".

I also love astronomy, but the question I often ask myself is this: What do I enjoy more, building the telescopes or actually using them?

Thanks for reading,
Deb

My hobby activities are mountain biking, and I'll road ride but not as much. I'm really into trekking in the mountains identifying flowers and birds. I back pack to summit peaks, I'll even backpack on my mountain bike to get deep into areas to fly fish. I have, and am enjoying adult coloring. Somebody else does the drawing and you get to bring that illustration to life with colour. It makes you feel like an artist.

OK, Samantha, I feel like an artist too, Especially when I'm driving my "old beater" Ford Econoline Club Wagon. Why is that? Because sometimes when I pull away from the traffic light, people will say: "Look at that van go!"

Double ouch here,

Shopping is therapy, girl! :P

Curious, Laycee - what kind of guitar do you play? Electric... acoustic?

I played bass in a band years ago, but these days, I am an aspiring acoustic player! Never too late to learn something new. :)

I ride motorcycles, and since it's a Harley, I guess that makes me a biker babe lol.
