CD dreaming?

Post by Debbie Jean »

I'm usually fairly good at remembering dreams that I've had if I re-tell the "stories" silently in my mind immediately after waking up.

Within the last few months or so, I've started to have dreams about CDing (wearing in public, making lingerie purchases in dept stores etc). Not every dream I have is CD related, but the percentage is definitely on the increase.

Last nite i dreamed that I went to Macy's and bought myself a pink chiffon 3-piece baby doll/peignoir set for myself. In the dream I left my street clothes in the changing room and walked thru the mall and out to my car, dressed only in the PJ set of course. Nobody in the mall seemed to notice. I got a real rush from that when the breeze created by brisk walking caused the layers of chiffon to "dance" on my body.

Another one I had a couple weeks ago--I dreamed I went to Sears to buy a socket wrench, but once I got in the store I completely forgot about the wrench and headed straight for the lingerie dept, at which time the store "morphed" into Victoria's Secret. In that dream, the intended tool purchase turned into a bra fitting! Total delight!

Anybody else have similar dreams?

Had this one a couple of nights ago---the neighbor (little 80 year-old woman) called me up and asked me to come over to help her with something. I get there, and she's trying to put on a beautiful leather corset that's obviously too large. She looks at me, and ask to see what it might look like on me, as I'm about the right size. I put it on, she laces it up snugly, and I hear a click. She's locked it on me! She says she knew I'd love it, and it's a gift for all the times I've shoveled her out and driven her around in bad weather (she always tries to pay me). In any event, not only does it look fabulous, but wife accepts it because we wouldn't want to hurt the neighbor's feelings, would we?

My dreams seem to take the shape of OOPS! experiences. Like, I forgot I was wearing a dress and suddenly here I am at a party ... or in the street ... or even back in school, or the army, or, you name it.

Still, a few have been sheer bliss, with no anxieties. Those always feel like special gifts.

I occasionally have dreams of being at work or some public place and I'm wearing a nightie and no one seems to notice, but I'm still mortified.
Well, we all have a face
That we hide away forever
And we take them out
And show ourselves when everyone has gone

Funny. I rarely have any CD related dreams, but the past weekend, I had two - one on Friday, one on Saturday.

Friday's dream is very vague and I don't really remember the details, but Saturday's dream is still very clear: The SO wants to come to my place (she hasn't been to my place in years). I am worried that she may find my fem stuff... but I am hopeful that she won't. I hop in the shower, the GF stands in the doorway talking about something. I soon realize that my makeup case is right inside the bathroom vanity, but I figure it'll be ok. At that moment, she opens the vanity finds the case with all my makeup stuff.

I've seen here angry before, but in this dream, this was more than anger... She is completely speechless, but her face is turning a bright red. It transforms into some distorted face, almost resembling Mas Kanata (from the Force Awakens, the humanoid female that runs the watering hole on Takodana). Yeah - she's mad...

That's pretty much when I woke up. And I know it doesn't really involve CD'ing per se, but its obviously my subconscience telling me something about my reluctance to talk to my SO about my crossdressing...

An ex of mine was amazing when it came to dream interpretations... I wonder what she'd tell me about this dream. Still kinda freaks me out a bit thinking about it. LOL! I actually woke up in a panic from this dream.

OMG, I dream all the time :? but I always wake up and find everything is ok lol. I dream about being with friends and I'm partly or fully dressed and nobody notices or says anything, kinda freaks me out in a good way.Another ongoing dream has me freaking out that someone found all my girl stuff or went through my suitcase or something, that was back when when I used to hide all my clothes, now I have too much so everything is in dressers or hanging in the closet, I quess the more you dress the more you don't hide, for me anyway. Dreaming is usually thoughts of whats going on in our lives, so I mostly love my dreams, and some feel so real, if you dream about nothing then your life needs to wake up and explore lol, so you go dream girl lexi @@9@@

About a week before I told my wife, fiancée at that time, about my nightie fetish I dreamt we went shopping together to buy me a nightie. Sometimes our dreams can tell us what we should do.

I can totally relate! As a matter of fact, about ten years ago, when I first started buying clothes, I had similar recurring dreams where the SO would find my stuff... but it was easy to hide my fem clothes back then. Virtually impossible to do so these days!

Looking at the feed back on this thread so far, I can see that some of you have had positive dreaming/awakening experiences, some of you negative. For those of us who experience a joy of positive "rush" upon awakening from a good dream, I want to say--It's payback Time! By that I mean that we as Cders have our own crosses to bear that society as a whole has no inkling of (disapproval, judgement, guilt trips laid on us by "social norms" etc, etc--you know the drill). That special "joy" of awakening is something unique that only we get to experience, yes indeed payback for all the crap we have had to take.

Just my 2c worth, have a good day

My CD dreams seem to be associated with wearing something to sleep in. I probably just sleep naked > 95% of the time, and I might have a CD dream once every three months. On the other hand, on those times I wear some of my stuff to sleep in, I probably dream about it at least 50% of the time.

In the dreams I'm usually scared to death of being caught in public. Sometimes I get caught in the dream and sometimes I don't. But every time I've gotten caught it has turned out -- in the dream -- to be no big deal. Nobody cares.

Don't think this means for a moment that I'm actually going to go public, but I do find it amusing.

I have very few dreams about CD.

But I have at times dreams that I was dressed as a woman in situations that no one seemed to care.
I AM NOW A WOMAN- I FOUND MYSELF

Isn't it funny how many of us seem to dream that we are dressed in public that no one cares? Does that mean our subconscious realizes it's not as dangerous as we think, or are our brains trying to get us in trouble?

Wow!

Another CD-related dream just a couple nights ago... I dreamt that I was at home in my condo, en femme when there was a knock at the door. I tried to ignore it, but it was my SO saying that she knew I was home. Not knowing what to do, I pretended that I was in the shower and that's why I couldn't answer the door. As I'm trying to get undressed and into the shower, my SO along with my mom and a couple other random people come in just as they see me taking off the dress I was wearing...

So strange. Re-occurring theme here: being caught by the girlfriend and a shower... Maybe my subconscience trying to tell me to come clean? :-k

Your sub conscious maybe giving you a message Lexi.

My dreaming involved arriving back at work after holidays dressed as Requal.

You are so correct when you say that no one notices Stephanie because in my dream every thing went on as normal when Requal appeared.

If that happens Lexi, jump in the shower and start scrubbing your face then shout out about soap in your eyes. It worked for Tootsie.

Sounds to be it's based on anxiety about what would happen if you were exposed to the world. Kind of like the naked in class dreams most kids had growing up.
