New, nervous and a little shy... (ok very very shy!)
Greetings,
I guess to start, I am a local in the So Cal area and somewhat of an in the closet crossdresser. Meaning I have cross dressed a couple of times when I was younger (12 to 13 years old 4 times total) and when I 'cross-played' (what they call crossdressing at the cons) a number of times at the anime/comic conventions and totally enjoyed the experience! Nothing beyond that; with the exception of being en femme at home.
But, then I started to realize, I really enjoyed the feminine side of myself. I am kind of (ok maybe a lot) self-conscious of my appearance and I don’t feel confident enough to doing makeup on my own. And thank goodness for online shopping when it comes to clothing! However, I believe joining this forum will shed more light on helping me to improve my look. And to possibly (when I get brave enough) to go out in femme that is not at a convention. For now it is a pleasure to meet you all and hope we can become friends.
Respectfully
Kiddy

Hello Kiddy, welcome to the forum. I think you'll love it here.

Hi Kiddy. Yes we all feel nervous and shy when we share our secret. However I have found this Haven to be very friendly and supportive.
