Highly outfit dependent IMO. That said my usual everyday earrings usually are sterling silver.

Everyday earrings to wear with jeans and the like, hoops or dangle style?

Hoops seem be much more casual, at least the larger diameter ones.
Dangles are dressier--IMO.

OK, so my problem is I like shorter skirts and dresses. Are They appropiate with for a mature person with stockings/leggins, and boots?

Two totally different questions here Hanna as IMO as there is a tremendous difference between stockings and leggings. Add to that how short is short? OK Diana enough philosophizing and answer the damned question!

Within reason I don't know why a mature woman can't wear a shorter skirt if it looks good on her. I am sure more than a few have thought my hem at one time or another was too short but I didn't or else I wouldn't have worn it.

Boots with heels, strictly for skirts and dresses or OK for more casual outfits like jeans or leggings?

I've seen many wonderful outfit combinations while wearing "Boots with heels"; so no, boots with heels are not limited to skirts and dresses.

I went laser and have been happy with the results although I was not that hairy to start. Have heard good and bad about both though.

Christmas or New Years Eve?

Christmas as it is a time for family and friends as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, or Hanukkah, or what ever your celebration. Over all just a time for family and fiends.

Holiday parties do you prefer to wear an festive holiday sweater, or a pretty dress or skirt outfit?

Definitely the festive holiday sweater. You have all year to wear the pretty dress or skirt outfit, the holidays only come once a year and IMO are here for too short a time.

New Years Eve? Is it a time for looking back or looking forward?

It can be fun or sad to look back so I have to say look forward as the future is truly the unknown.

New Years resolutions? Do you make them with a realistic goal of following through or they more they "Gee I wish ..." type?

I try to make realistic resolution that are achievable. Don't always make it but I do try.

One of the biggest resolutions is to get in shape. Do you exercise regularly or resolve to do it every year and it gores by the way side?

I try to "work out" on a regular or at least a semi regular basis. Being a runner I count my runs as working out but I also go to yoga as well as will try other things around the gym.

I saw swimsuits out already at a local store the other evening as well as Valentine's Day and Easter. Are you ready for this onslaught or like me getting a little tired of having the "next" holiday or season shoved into your face?

Tagging on the holiday theme. Do you like the traditional old bulb Christmas lights or the new LED Christmas lights?

I prefer thee brightness of the old lights, something you don't get from LEDs. I have pretty much gone to LEDs particularly outdoors and it is easier when the electric bill comes so I just put more out and on the tree. Still childhood memories of watching my father string the lights on the tree and hoping they still worked are fond ones.

Next big holiday is Valentines Day so it is a night out with dinner and the like with your SO or a "special" evening in *^^* ?

Well kind of both. Usually do a night out to eat before or after Valentines as the night of is just nuts. Then do a quiet night at home the night of.

With all of the cold weather about, how does your out and about attire change? Change up your skirt for a longer one, heavier one, more slip, bloomers. Or do you switch over to slacks?

It definitely has a bearing on what I wear with longer skirts, boots and tights. Funny because when I started out I vowed no jeans or slacks out and about for this girl, just skirts and dresses! The first time it hit zero I said enough is enough and this girl was wearing slacks and jeans.

Sweaters, turtleneck or crew neck style?

Crew neck for this girl

Do you shave your legs or wax them?
