How do you girls keep your pictures?? On a disk ?? just on your computer ?? on a memory stick?? How do you know they will not be found ?? Have many pics through the years would hate to lose them or have them found by the wrong person. Thanks for your help.

BACK UP to a hard disk

I have all my pictures backed up to hard disks. And I have a few of them.

Mine!? Well I have the actual pictures several thousand going all the way back in time me toddling about with a bowl on my head in a diaper...think there had been ice cream in it. I have loaded hundreds...or perhaps a thousand or so on my desk top or under pictures on my hard drive and have gobbs saved on my Facebook timeline...on my smart phone there are a bunch but I do keep my feminine pictures close to the vest...on my phone or computer, there are just maybe 5 on this site... But a memory stick is a good way to do it need at least a gigabite click and drag the photo folder that's it!

I too have pictures which I do not wish to be seen by others, Denise. I keep them on a memory stick, hidden is a private place.

This way it is portable and can be quickly removed from the computer and hidden should I be interrupted having "a trip down memory lane".

I keep them on a computer, under a misnamed folder buried deep in the nesting. Of course, a program like Microsoft Picture Manager sniffs them out almost instantaneously.

Were I to travel, as with a laptop, I might encrypt the files, like I do with financial files. It is a nuisance, but it is also very effective.
