Definitely no to hose! It just doesn't seem appropriate (IMO of course!

Tough one Emily as there are two types of holidays, religious like Easter or Christmas and others such as the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, etc. Seeing as Easter is the next big holiday I am going to answer based on that, definitely dress up.
