Let's start with the article, https://www.popsugar.com/beauty/Sephora ... y-44871070.
Now for all that prepping they did to get started, did someone forget that a lot of their customers don't want to be sitting out there in the public for everyone to see? Myself, it makes no diff, but I think any of you that are thinking of going, but are concerned about who will see? You gotta let the the stores know.
Now I need to find one of them stores so I can get some tweaks.
Thank you Sephora

Saw that on one of my news feeds and I thought what took you so long? IMO it is a huge step for the community in recognition we are a force out there and not going away.

Road trip? Did someone say road trip? I'll bring the beer!
All kidding aside I think this is a grand and long overdue step in the right direction for the girls. There is a difference here between a lot of girls and the GG, think beard cover. I have been in both Sephora and Ulta and seen more than one of you in drab trying to figure out colors and styles and I am sure the clerks have noticed too. The fact Sephora has taken such a huge step to help is to their credit. Just don't forget to patronize them after.

Re: Thank you Sephora
Yes, Thanks Davita for the heads-up...
I checked the Twin Cities Sephora outlets and there are a few. I did not see any who are scheduling a transgender session...yet. There are opportunities for private makeup sessions though. Looks like the cost is buying $50 of makeup/products.
I will check out the videos. I am sure that will be a good place to start.
Thanks, Hon...

Re: Thank you Sephora
I went to the class last Saturday, June 9, in Lansing, MI. This class was very well planned. There were about 15 participants and 6 staff members. They were able to match products for skin tone, skin type (oily, dry, etc.), color-correction needed, and skin allergies. Because there were so many staff present it felt almost like one-on-one attention. They held the class two hours before the store opened, and there was plenty of time for browsing/shopping before the store opened. I was really impressed. A lot of what they taught was old-news for me, but I did learn some great tips and was introduced to some awesome products. At the end, they gave each attender a gift bag with a great selection of products. All of this was free. My wife and daughter went as well, and they both learned a lot about their own make-up needs.
