Texas panhandle support group meetings 2nd and 4th Saturdays

A TG support group in the Amarillo region has recently been organized, with bi-monthly meetings on the second and fourth Saturday evenings each month beginning at 7:30 pm until whenever. All gurls and SOs in the Texas panhandle region are invited to get out, meet new friends and participate.

For those of you who need to be discrete about your dressing, you'll be glad to know the meetings are held at a facility where you can be assured of a reasonable degree of privacy while still being able to dress and interact en femme. If you need a place to change, you are welcome to do so at the facility, so come a few minutes early (but no earlier than 7:00). If you want to come in boy mode you can do that too -- or anything in between.

The meetings are casual and informal, with an emphasis on mutual support, education and encouragement. For all you who have been too timid to venture out in public, this is your opportunity to step out and meet like-minded friends. As for you more experienced gurls, well, we can never have too many new friends, right? Some of the gurls may retire to a local watering hole after the meeting, but there is no pressure to join in unless you want to.

But I was hoping others might be interested in

Unfortunately, Sherri has not been back to the forum since September 2008, and I do not know of any members on that side of the state.


However, I would recommend that you send an email to Sherri via the forum (click on the @ button at the bottom of her post, above) with your query. Provided that she has not changed her email address, she will receive it and she can reply directly to you.

You might want to try contacting Tri-Ess [ http://tri-ess.org/docs/chapter_list.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ] or do a Google search for information on local CD/TG groups, Pride events, etc.
