That would be too cool! I would love to have some assist. I've been thinking about a trip down to K.C. for some R&R. Maybe we can get together over a weekend sometime.

Hi Bernice,!
That must be the CP 990, amost identical to the 995 other that the MP # and I have taken nearly as many shots also,,
Im about to post a garden page on my site soon, seems I do use the camera for more than Cindy pics :-))))

On a related note, the photo subject came up while taking pics of my grandson last weekend, I mentioned not liking my photo taken much(realy dont in guy mode) and my wife started laughing,, my daughter said "lets dont even go there dad!" Seems she has been on my computer and may have seen some stored Cindy pics ?? I think we need to chat soon :-)))))))

Cindy:

OK I got so confused, I went and looked at my manual. My E995 is exactly the camera featured on this web page:
http://www.betterphoto.com/reviews/revi ... ItemID=260

So, it is 3.34 Mp, but still not 4MP. Then again, Nikon comes out with new models about twice a week so it seems, and anything is possible.

Toni:

The offer is 100% sincere. But understand - no-way will I ever look as beautiful as Cindy, nor can just my camera make anyone that beautiful, unless they are that beautiful. I'll send a self-portrait and you will see what I mean. Let's plan something about 4-6 weeks away? I'm starting a month of database classes this week and my head will be hurting from all the learning I will have to do, but after then, why not? We should PM or e-mail from here on out, yes?

Hugs to all,

Bernice

Nope, no way. I can disagree as long as I am nice about it right? You are right almost all the time but not this time. I am with Jadeanne on this one, and you are just out-numbered. "You look really good and your photography is just right". Couldn't have said it better myself!

Remember that when you walk down the street and heads begin to turn. Be considerate of the many men who find you very attractive, and they will. They can't help it. None of us can. Especially those of us who are wired to go weak in the knees when they see such cute bangs! :P

LOL @ Cindy. You are right about using a sheet for a backdrop. Looks like a sheet. The only nice thing that I have found with using the sheet is that it gives you a solid background color in Photoshop.Which is great for cutting out the image to add to other pics. And yes most of Cami's pics don't come out quite right. Get a big Memory Stick, Flash, Smart Media whatever more memory means more pics. Volume....go for the Volume. Increases the odds of getting a good pic.

This kind of reminds me of a decade or so ago when I was really "into" photography . . . I painted my extra bedroom walls neutral gray so it would be a perfect backdrop for portaits . . . never had a "sheet" problem. Off white can be a good color too and you can aim a spot lite with a colored bulb (a clamp-on from Home Depot) from the floor behind the subject onto the white (or grey) walls and get a professional look for peanuts.

[zoom in to the subject's face to set the f-stop setting -- don't include the background light (or lack of it) when selecting the f-stop -- then zoom out and take the pix!]

Good luck everyone!

I think glamour shots would be a good choice to look into. In every photographers schedule there is always a slow time. Its just hitting it just right with little or no other persons about. Let me know who you went with, OK.

Love Suzzie.

I like taking my own pix! I stink at it...but even a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes! I've used a 1mp Kodak, and a 3.2 mp Olympus cam...just got a 4mp Canon...can't wait to try it out!
