As I write this, there are 551 registered users who have posted a total of 16,436 articles. I hesitate to make invidious distinctions — a great strength of this forum is the overall seriousness and helpfulness of those who are registered here. Beauty, Sharon (SO), and Shannon stand alone in making this such a wonderful place, day in and day out, but I am not too inclined to rank the rest of us. (I could single out those who have written nice notes to me personally, but that might be more awkward than honorary for the girls in question.) So here’s to 551 individuals who impress me!   May God bless them all !         *;*;*
Take care,

Jamie Ann

Hi girls.

My special poem for all of you.

Finding and meeting such a community online
Chatting, telling stories, laughing together
I knew I had found a special place
So thoughtful and kind
All who would be here
Whether far or near
When either needed an ear
Who can always give me a lift
When I'm feeling down and blue
And, I want to say
Knowing and having all of you in my life
I truly consider a gift
The times we've shared with laughter so hard
Till my tummy ached or I shed a tear
And, I want to thank you all
For all the wonderful memories
Your friendship has given me
Precious moments such as these
I'll alway treasure.

Love

VickiCD

vicki, I wish I was one tenth the person that you with words. I have always been good with numbers. I have attempted to say things on this forum that are from the heart but to not be able too as I am no good with words.

I wish I could say what I am thinking about this forum and the people as good as you do then I could help instead of stopping the good nature of the people here.

I see a problem but because of my lack of communication skills can show it ot the inner circle here. o well the problem of english and spelling an my lack there of. thanks for the poem Vicki it says so much with so little. Gelinda.

YES!!!! Here's to the girls that make the world go round!!!!!
Vicki: love your poem, maybe we need a PoetessLaurette for our site Beauty can you work on that- it could be honorary and alternate every month or so - just an idea. Blondes and blind squirrels find a nut every once in a while!
Glinda: maybe you aren't a poetess, but you are from the heart honey, and that counts big time!!!!!!
Jamie Ann: ever the true diplomat! Yes it is all the ladies that make this site what it is. some of us need to be reminded of that - often! Your a sweetheart!
Love,
Deborah

I will not answer so not to hurt others that do not get mentioned in this one thread.

Gelinda.
Gelinda,

Please don't feel slighted by this topic or anything I or others may say..... There obviously is some advantage for those who have been around for a while, but it is not that they are better. or more important, that have just had more opportunities to say or do the right thing at the right time.....

And for me, you might notice I included Stef, who hasn't been here for even a month yet (I think).... It is not my intention to place some above others.... As I stated, ALL members here are SO VERY IMPORTANT to me personally.... Without every one of you I would not be growing as I am.... each one of the members here makes comments and thoughts that effect me....

The whole point of my question here was to ask others, who has really made an impression on you at a particular time...... Who has made you think in a way you might not have other wise thought.....

All the members here are EXTREAMLY important to me and all here.... each one of us has the ability to tough another with our kindness and helpfulness.....

I hope you understand how I feel about all members of this forum.....

Hi Y'all,

I appologize for not posting to this before now but I have been really tied up this weekend. Busy, busy, busy!!

My first reaction to your question is to think of Beauty because she has shown such wonderful and loving patience with me as I stumble through here trying to do things correctly. For that, Beauty, I must publicly thank you. =D>

I have to mention Stef because of her newest picture. As most of you know, I am alone in life and would most definitely love to find someone (GG) who looks anywhere that good with that nice a smile to wake up to in the morning. 8-[

Finally, I would have to include every single one of you. You all are absolutely wonderful. I could not have asked for a better family. My Granfather had a fovorite statement: "You can pick your friends but you can't pick your relatives." This is usually quite true but in this case it's not. This is the most wonderful family a girl could have. Thank you all. @@9@@ @@9@@ @@9@@

First I must say thank you to both Shannon and Beauty for the honor. I am not sure I deserve it as I am just generally posting what ever is on my mind.
Now on to my list

Beauty (For her compassion and strength)
Lorna
CJ
Alexandra

Of course Shannon now I have to ask how is it that you spell my name wrong everytime you type it?
