This nail strengthener allowed me to finnaly have long nails. It makes my nails very strong. It can be expensive, but it lasts a very long time, and I feel that it's well worth it. I just love it!

This is a great base coat, it fills in the ridges and leaves nails smooth for nail polish application.

I love this top coat!

I have tried both of the nail polish brands ("Essie" and "OPI") and I prefer the OPI brand.

When I manicure my nails, I first use the "Nailtiques #2" (for added strength), next I use the "Seche Vite Base Coat" (this smooths any ridges), I apply 2 coats of the color polish, and then finish with the "Seche Vite Top Coat" (leaves nails utra shiny and protects againsts chipping)
[I do have a nail dryer that I use, with all these coats of polishes takes a bit to dry]

You ladies are soooo lucky! Unfortunately I have to work with my hands and even wearing heavy gloves I just can not keep my nails nice. I use Pro Strong on the cuticles and what nails I am able to maintain, so I end up using the "stick ons" which is not all that bad.
I have had good success with Sally Hansen, but I want to try OPI next.
Thanks for all you do for us,
Love ya,
Deborah

Love,
I can't believe it. I picked out I'm not a waitress to wear on my toes in June. Does that mean I may have a little fashion sense? It was brighter than anything I had used so far with sandals in male mode. I was nervous over it. My woman friend, my therapist and my wife loved it. So I wore it out proudly and loved it again like when I first picked it out.

No lie, my friend and therapist at different times told me almost the same things in the same words. They both told me as they smiled that they loved the new color, wanted the name and said it was really me. It felt very special to be complimented so freely over a feminine choice. It did mean a lot to me. I told the therapist I thought it was too feminine and too bright for me. She said I do believe it looks great on you. She said look at your toes and tell me how you feel. I told her I loved the color and I feel it helps to let out the real me. Are you hurting yourself? Are you hurting anyone else? Are you hurting your wife? My answer was no to all three. She said let me see that smile you leave slip every once in a while.
I did but hid it quickly.

It is still an unknown mystery why I fight so hard not to smile. I know it is another crazy thing that I can't cure myself and just go hence forth and smile naturally when the urge arises. I can here in private with the girls, but not in real life. This is real life too, but I hope you understand what I mean.

Thanks for the post, it's nice to be in current fashion once and not be stuck in the 50's, 60's and 70's.

For the longest time I was using Revlon (quick dry - NYers have no patience, LOL) until I stumbled on the NYC brand.

Their quick dry formula is only $2 a bottle, comes in lots of cute colors, and works just as well!
Live it. Love it. OWN IT.

Sorry I don't wear any, I bite my nails, so they are short and ugly looking.

Hi girls,

I change polish so often, sometimes every day, that lasting long or chipping is really not an issue, so I buy strictly for colors I like. So far in my experience I have found that good nail polish can vary as much from color to color of the same manufacturer as it can from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Polishing my nails is one of those things I never tire of, it is just an absolute delight, just like shaving my legs, which I also do daily and sometimes bi-daily. I guess it is all just a part of this insanity we call crossdressing.

Love always,
Elizabeth

I have a beautiful silk, kinda of a "peachy-pink" blouse that I intend to wear at the SCC. I went to Merle Norman and took the blouse and asked Charlotte, (she runs the place) to match it with lipstick and nail polish, she came really, really close and I can't wait to try them in HOt'lanta!

I have 2 favourites, a lilac colour which I love the most but it doesn't go with much, and a really nice pink which is shinny by rimmel.

Sophie,

I am wearing a very pale lilac colored polish right now on both my fingers and toes, and have the pink by the same manufacturer, they are very pale pastel type colors and I love them. But the lilac color is my favorite.

I have dozens of different colours - mostly pinks but some reds. I'm having a couple of days off so I'm going to the beauty salon this morning to have a facial, manicure and pedicure and then my nails painted with L'Oreal Chrome Shine.

I'm going to feel so girly.
