Wow Kathy, I’d say you’re lucky, but you have to climb down the cliffs to get to the beach…. Meaning that I’m sure you worked hard to get to the place where there’s little conflict in your male/female personality.
What next? Do you feel any inclination towards mixing male/female clothing/jewelry/shoes? Ever thought of wearing a little make-up while wearing mostly-man clothes?
Just wondering.-Nicole
Actually, I never have been much into makeup or jewelry. I've really never felt the need to present myself as female in any way. I just enjoy the clothes. I have been mixing and matching for several years but mostly in androgynous styles and colors. Nothing overtly femme but someone up on the styles would probably know. If my living situation here was a bit different, I would probably push a little farther into softer colors and more recognizably female slacks while out and about. For now it is mostly just girl jeans and t-shirts with a man shirt over the top just to keep them guessing.
But, then, I mostly identify with the androgynous gender state. I seem to be able to switch hit on a whim (clothing that is). The last four days, including today, have been total guy mode. But, until yesterday, we had guests. Tomorrow...?

I think that’s wonderful, Kathy! Of course, I am biased; being in an androgynous state of dress/make-up 24/7 myself. I don’t feel any need to ‘pass’ either, and it always does my heart good to cross paths with a kindred-androgynous-spirit (I hope you don’t mind my calling you that!), that’s something that doesn’t happen nearly often enough, even here in the ‘enlightened’ bay area.
Yet another reason for me to check in at this site more often!-Nicole.
