I've come upon a oppertunity to go out en femme that I simply can't turn down. I was gradually going to work myself up to going out, my targeted goal was to go out this winter.
But moved it up since a aquaintance of mine in the local punk rock scene is having a "crossdressing party" on August 3rd. I'll need to get an outfit together, learn some more about make-up, and get a wig of course. BTW, does anyone know where that tread about wig styles and head shapes is? I can't find it.
I'll probley won't llok as perfect as I want to, but I'm going the extra effort and I'm sure I'l be the best looking girl there! I'm floating on air!
Tara,
If its a party, you should have a ball!!! I can offer Paulayoung.com as a good source for wigs in that they are having a sale. Some of their nicest wigs are on $29.00. As for the make-up you may want to buy some ladies magazines to get some ideas. Cosmo; Vogue; Redbook. They all have websites and all the latest in cosmetics and makeup tips. Good luck and keep us posted.

First star to the right, then straight on 'till mornin!
That sounds like a great way to break out. I am sure you must be very excited. I am so happy for you, I hope you keep us informed about your plans, your clothes, and your nerves.
Now that sounds like fun! I remember one Halloween I dressed and a girl I met there said I looked too good to just have done it for a costume. She read me in a different way. So if you look too good....
Tara , Glad to know you "found" an outfit, I have been on the Cover giGirl Web site, they have tons of info on make up , how to apply, what colr suits you. From foundation, lips, eye shadow ,and mascara. They even have a animated program to help apply ye shadow. It has helped me so much. Have a blast!!!!!.....Kristen
