Thx, marda, have to chime in with a diversion here that is linked with my statement about balance...

The internet with it's real-time communcation and borderless aspect is a great cauldron with which humanity has begun to really cook new ideas in.

Yes, we are in the information age. Look at the proliferation of patents and other forms of intelectual property. The global free rtade initiative is the biggest hallmark that we are indeed there. It's all about movign manufacturing to the lowest cost centers in the world and the complete protection of anything "information" based.

Funy thing is, american has always been behind the ball as compared to other countries in every major advance that has happened in the last 150 years. We were behind in motorization, atomic science, communications technology, and now we are falling behind on the Internet as well. Why? I believe it is because Americans have taken a purely reactionary stance to the world. We seek to protect and hoard that which we see as the greatest technology at that point in time. We have become a nation that is based ont he exploitation of others. 8-(

I know this is a bit of a diversion, but it's something that Jassmine and I concluded the other night after watching some stuff on discovery, history channel, and TLC. The politicians and multinationals talk about imagination and knowlege talent as being our key values as compared tot he rest of the world. Sorry, it isn't really true anymore. We have forced the rest of the world to inovate in order to survive our tyrrany of the last 50 years. As a result, they are more geared to out perform us in these areas.

What I forsee is that in another 50 years, everything will be outsourced. America will be a dying economy because we will have let everythign that we have walk out the door and into the rest of the world. I know some here will argue that the rest of the world deserves it as much as we do, but here I must fall back to the idea that in order to take care of others, you must first take care of yourself. It's a giant chess game now. And we are heading for checkmate because we can't even feed, house, and medically care for our own. We are more interested in the individual's wealth and prosperity than the communities.

ok, sorry for the rant, it's over. :)

Shall I say "I Double Love You" ... next would be "Triple" etc

or ... "I Love 'square' You" ... next would be 'kube' etc
or ... "I Love 'exponentially' You" ... next would be ...
"Would you like to BIGGIEsize that? ...

Omi_gawd ... if I do that, we would need HUGE bandwidth in no time flat ...

It would be quicker & cheaper to just drive to Dallas, treat you 2 a Popsicle and give you a "peck on the cheek"
Now that would be very cool indeed 8) And indeed much less expensive than all that bandwith :)

Especially I'm kaptured by your post & comment as follows ...
(J)...
" Indeed balance in all aspects of life is very important. For it is in that balance that one finds not only inner peace and harmony but also, one finds peace and harmony with and within the universe.
We are all children of the stars
The universe is as much a part of us as we are a part of the universe. " (J) =D>

Q. - How do you suppose we kan kommunikate this message in such a way that *More* folkz will *Komprehend* what we're driving at here ... I mean this is pretty *Kosmic* stuff ... *Waaaaaayyyyy out 'There"* ...
Ah, it is quite existenial. I guess one way would be to look at humans' interactions with other humans. Emotions are infectious. Give some one a smile and they will pass that smile on to the next person they run across. Same goes for negativity, that spreads like the plauge:( In other words we are all connected to each other by the thread of the cosmos. The smile I give to one person could be spread, in this day and age, quite literally around the world :) Merry meet and merry part.
This is sorta why I use the "Mirror" Metaphor ... yes, we have to see our own self and *Depth*, but in the Kontext of the *Greater* picture of this *Wonderous* & *Wonderful* Universe ...

I reckon I'm Lucky in a way ... I have 4 things right here in front of me that remind me of myself and 1) how *Big* I am, 2) how *Small* I am, 3) how *Finite* I am, & 4) how *Infinite* I am ...

1) "Seymore" the spider 'who' lives in a corner of my window ... very kool ... his web is amazing ... watching him work is a thrill ... and I don't need to worry about flying insects  8)

2) Mount "Seymour" ... a nice place to ski in winter ... nice hikes in summer 8)

3) a cemetery :-k 8)

4) "Me" ... Marda ... & of kourse my "konstant kompanion" "Mr.Spaceman" 8) [-o<
Beautifully put :) Perspective and the ability to be open to new things is also very important. The universe is constantly in flux, as is life. The only constant in life is change. Keeping a clear perspective towards and being open to those changes helps keep things in balance. Also one should bare in mind that nothing is all good or all bad. There is always some failure in success and some success in failure. Perspective is what enables one to learn from their mistakes and grow through their successes.

You see ... it's my thinking that *If* we kan kommunikate this message klearer and deeper ... we will *all* have better lives ... not just SOs & CD/TGs but *All* "HumanBeans" :-k
!!!yes!!!
I'd love to hear more from you & everybody on this Pleez [-o<
I would, too.! :)

Well girls as usual you have done it again!!!! =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> I will place into consideration my theory that true CD'ers are probalby the next evolutionary phase in human development. The ability to transistion between the male female personna (dressing being secondary) is a form of balance is it not?? We have to balance the two personna or we go back to"en drab" which is not bad, or we go to SRS (possibly) which isn't a bad thing either - it was just meant to be for that person and now they are balanced. But my contention is that "we" CD'ers are unique and with the science beginning to understand us and who/what/why we are who we are then we can continue on "Our Magical Mystery Tour" with the firm conviction of our lives that we are indeed the pioneers of a "new" better human being, "gifted" with compassion, empathy, love, acceptance and tolerance!
Love ya all!!!

I like to think that the "empowered women" movement of the 1900's was the first sign that society is evolving to a full equality system of androgynous personalities. The metrosexual news reports is another sign of the forward steps that society is taking.

Hi Ahzz

As much as I'd like to agree, and you do make a good point in terms of extended timeframes (hundreds of years), I can't

Research shows that even well into the Golden Era (50s,60s) of Lingerie (Romance) , Women were still dominated by the prevailing concept of (physical >>> intellectual) "restraint" in their fashions

Research And Experience shows that the majority of Women who have "risen" in business have merely adopted and excelled in the ways of brutality and "man's inhumanity to man" in the WOM (a "Red" who fell into the "Blue" dyepot)

Metrosexuality to me is not a true social development ... merely a facade ... a media construct (dependent on exterior image, artifacts and "imitativity" as opposed to "creativity") which feeds off the general herd "non-mentality" of the masses (a "Blue" who painted himself with some "Red" flashes ... very popular with "Red"s who like to wear "Blue" for fun)

My apologies ... I think I'm getting out of context for the general theme of this forum

Marda,

"Good point" I have no choice than to agree with you, and they are hurting as a result of it, because they are not getting the respect or support that they desire.

A case in point there is a female bus driver (not a large woman) where I have lived, who is the most pleasant person I have ever met. She gets respect from everyone, and says that she has had a lot of things happen to her on her job, but never any trouble ever from a customer. The trouble she dose encounter comes from those who are jealous of her.

Ladies,

I once tried to live with a beleif system where the main goal was to maintain neutrality. One tried to be neither white or black but maintain an absolute neutrality. due to several laws of physics and the far reaching conotations of time travel, I decided that becoming reactionary instead of proactive was nuts. I wonder if we argue the same thing here at the root.

The argument has been made that we are in fact the next trip along the evolutionary trail. That by opening ourselves to new experiences we open further avenues of exploration. Since the argument was initiated, I have searched for Non TG data to support the supposition. Alas I have not been able to find any. If any body has any amount of data to support the issue I would like to know where it is. Perhaps there is another solution.

What we do, Cross dressing, requires the ability to change your very perception of life and everything in it. It requires that you " Think Outside the box" to experience another genders idenity and the issues that arise. during the course of these acheivments we develope a "Second-self", a different set of pathways in the mind that are associated with this new self. Integration of the second self feelings, aspiritions and beliefs with our orginal mind set opens a door to the wonderful possibilities of the mind.

By accepting our other self, embracing the complete self as something greater than the sum of the parts, we exercise the brain. Like all body parts, if you do not exercise it on a regular basis, it becomes more resistant to change and to the way experiences and issues interact.

Change must be embraced. To diavow change and challenge while maintaining the status quo, is to cheat the world of your greatest gift.

I have read this and wondered where it went. Mental note to self " do not post long esoteric messages that require prolonged thinking while trying to quit tobacco. At least not on the first day." I'll leave it up, infere what you may, and remember I have a point somewhen here.

Sign me content to read for a while...

OUTSIDE THE BOX

Post by Marda »

Hi Ladies, Aislin, Darlene, Ahzz, Deborah, Jassmine

1) Love & Respect to You All

2) It's back to the Blue, Red, Green concept ... I'm unable to restrict myself to merely "Think Outside The Box"

3) I LIVE OUTSIDE THE BOX ... I'm Born With This Gift

4) "Green" is Who I Am ... I'm Part of an OmniDimensional "Living Colour" Universe and as such, Functionally Incompatible with 2 Dimensional Constructs and Mind_Traps

5) "CD/TG's" or anyone else for that matter who don't "have" the "gift", cannot buy it ... it's simply *Not* Available for Purchase

6) Those of us who acknowledge and thank the higher power for this gift are charged with the responsibility to share it lovingly, wisely and constructively to the benefit of the higher power ... we are merely messengers

7) Knowing the risks we face, the higher power has also charged us with the responsibility of protecting ourselves while we follow His Guidance ... the WOM is inhospitable

Evening All,

Marda
2) It's back to the Blue, Red, Green concept ... I'm unable to restrict myself to merely "Think Outside The Box"

If you restrict yourself to a concept you have restricted your self to only being understood by a certain group of individuals. You are the preacher preaching to the choir.

I may not want to read this thread for a while, the urge to dip is getting stronger the more I read. I have a really good Idea why.

Marda I find my self grinning and laughing while reading this last post. after everything you have written in the last couple of weeks, Are you out of your mind??? ..OO..

It's like you are now saying, " I am sorry I have sinned, let me go back to the company line, get back in my cubby and let the rest of the world go by. I am secure here please do not mess with me."
I LIVE OUTSIDE THE BOX ... I'm Born With This Gift
Accept the responsability, and strive to awaken others. I have discovered during my life that if someone or company has to tell you they do something, they probably don't. Get off that pedastal and join the rest of us struggling to survive and live the dream. Don't tell me, Show me.
"Green" is Who I Am ... I'm Part of an OmniDimensional "Living Colour" Universe and as such, Functionally Incompatible with 2 Dimensional Constructs and Mind_Traps
Think before you speak, please. If you are " Functionally Incompatible with 2 Dimensional Constructs " you are not part of any OmniDimensional Universe I have ever heard of.

If you are " Functionally Incompatible with Mind_Traps" what are you doing here? While the traps are more genral in nature they do certanily exist. In fact, after reading a lot of your posts that may explain why you tend to write in circles, most of the mind traps are yours!

In closing I really want to thank you for the comic relief in the previous post. I think it will be a good day after all. I did not mean to offend, I meant to shake you out of the complancency I find you in. Please remember that some of us are paying attention.

Aislin,

While I concur that your above post is fair, I don't think that Marda is complacent, rather far from it.

She is trying to describe something that in my opinion can not be explained, even I had difficulty understanding what she was trying to accomplish, and I am part of the choir.

People simply are unable to grasp what she is talking about, (through no fault of there own) and thus it dose appear as though she is talking in circles.

She has gone through some pretty large adjustments since she first came on board. She has asked for and received help, which leads me to believe that her heart is in the right place, meaning that she is a caring individual, and I believe she will benefit from your observations.

Please don't let this stop you from contributing Marda.

Dear Mr.Hill,

Your book "Think & Grow Rich" has been a tremendous help and inspiration to me for which I can never Thank You enough.

With all respect however, there is by my own personal experience, one caution to your readers.

In reference to your statement "*The dreamers of today fare better*. ", only last week it was suggested by medical professionals that I consider anti-psychotic medication to remedy my apparent delusionary thinking.

Not to worry Mr.Hill - I am pleased to assure you that I *do* believe and accept your primary thesis "... Practical dreamers *do not quit*! ...", - and I have no intention to ingest mind-altering substances or quit my "practical dreaming".

Love & Best Regards

MARDA and Ladies

Can You Hear me Now?

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.

Hi Aislin,

I believe that you and I as well as Marda, Darlene, Ahzz, and Deborah are all on the same page. We are all just stating basically the same thing in many different ways. We are all unique, so of course our ways of thinking will also be unique. We are also viewing this discussion from our own unique perspectives. We learn best by looking at things from varied angles. It is all in one's own perspective as to what one chooses to take and "digest" from these other unique angles :)

Hi all,

First I want to say that I agree with Jassmine,
Poor is the man whose pleasures depend on the permission of another.
That is excellent Aislin, thank you for those words.
There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone's life.
The joy and/or reward one receives from making a fundamental difference in someones life, dose not last. After a time it becomes old stuff and needs to be replaced.

There is a greater Joy that can be attained in ones life that dose not depend upon the acceptance or permission of another.
