Large shoes

Post by Marti »

There was an article in the Wall Street Journal the other day about women's feet getting larger and that they were having trouble finding stylish shoes. It mentioned that often women with large feet had to shop where crossdressers shop.

Ive found it good for shoes latly... being a size 10/11 but if your larger than 11 you may get stuck with fetish shoes. oh its easly to find size 14 heels made of plastic with 7 inch heels. but who wants to wear those all the time. Ide say my last 30 pairs of shoes ive bought are all genuine leather GG type shoes and wow are they ever nicer to wear than plastic fetish shoes....

Alas it is true. I used to wear a size 7 and 1/2, I am now up to size 8 and 1/2. UGH!! It is so very hard to find shoes that fit me comfortably. It never occured to me to find a CDers' shop.... #-o Anyone know of a good one in the Dallas area?

Given the intolerance for difference that exists in many parts of the American public, I seriously doubt that you will find a shoe store that openly advertises itself as a store for crossdressers (“Women’s Shoes for Men” or the like). However, the Payless Shoe Source has many styles of women’s shoes in sizes up to 13. It would not be good public relations for them to proclaim, “These larger sizes are mainly for men!” but they probably know that a large proportion of their size 13 sales are in fact to genetic males.
Take care,

Sigh....I am sure you are correct in your assesment. Thanks for the idea :) But I have shopped at Payless Shoes and the problem I have run into is that all the really cute shoes are in the smaller sizes :( It is a rare occasion when I can find something I like in my size. Hence why I posted in another thread that I really hate shopping.
