sphie , That's so cool. i wonder what your Dad is going to think when he finds out that his daughter in pink brought the improbable to the possible. You should be very proud of yourself for bringing them together. Love gotta go to work,,,,,,,,,,,kisten

Sophie, You are becoming a mature woman! Settling family disputes and such, now it time to go shopping for Sophie. I have a philosophy that some people don't particullary share, but it works, " the only person you have to impress is the one that signs your paycheck." So going shopping, you are the one that signs that store's employee's paycheck by shopping there and spending your hard earned money! they better treat you right or "vote with your feet." but only after you tell the manager what you think of their operation!
Of course that's just me!
Love ya,
Deborah

Hmmm, as I have another week off work maybe I'll speak to my Mum tonight and ask her if we can go shopping later in the week
lol
It is kinda cool that in a way Sophie brought the family together cos my Dad never thought they would speak again so he was a bit shocked lol Lisa, I'm working on these damn eye brows of mine but it isn't easy, they seem to have a mind of their own

i know its a bit l8 but Congrats girl on getting your sister and mum to talk together after all this time
i would have done this post yesterday but didnt want to jinx anything or anyone with it being the "firday d 13th"... its given me hope that one day i might actually get talking to my brother and mother again... early days yet for that as it hurts too much at mo..
i once read from one of these wonderful ladies... cant remember from whom as i have read so many posts... but she was right in the fact that when shopping in stores all the ppl that work there are just wanting to sell the products and they are not concerned with gender... yet we still cant shop there without feeling awkward
one of the days a few months ago i and my (so) was in Evans's during a lunch time and a man dressed en femm walked past us looking through skirts ect.... i looked up at the assistants behind the cunter for which they had noticed the individual in question and didnt evan give a second look... it wasn't till l8r after i did some searching on the net that i found out that the shop is a cdr friendly shop...(shame as i could have been shoppin there alot eailer in my youth and my cercanstances might have changed... oh well not going to dwell on the past too much..lol)
I do agree with what Jadeanne put about the two ways with shopping with or without company (as i and my better half have done the first of the two)... ive also had a thought which extends the notepad..(which i hope Jadeanne dont mind
) near the bottom of the page in bigger writing putting someting like "and if you see anything else for me that i would like, get it!!" And when you put the purchese's on the countrer makin sure that the note pad is open on that page and in their direction when you lay them all down as you go to get your money (then gettng the notepad first after you have paid)...lol (i'm gonna try this myself the next time i go)

Hi all,
Pauline,
You're perfectly welcome to expand on my notebook idea - it originated when my wife wrote a gift wish list in my pocket notebook, soon after our marriage almost 27 years ago. I looked for and bought her lingerie and clothing since then - it's only been just over 2 years that I started shopping for Jadeanne, too so I don't consider myself new at it. I can fit into all of my wife's clothing except shoes, so the list works for both of us.
