Would you grow breasts?
Hiya,
I'm just reallly curious to know if any of you girls would consider growing breasts, or have grown breasts?
I don't know if I would cos I'm not sure how a future girlfriend would react to her boyfriend having real breasts lol and I'm sure once you've grown them you can't get rid of them.
But I really would love to for so many reasons, I see you can buy pills and creams and stuff to grow breasts which amazes me really. That would just be so amazing to think you can grow your own natural breasts.
I would be too afraid of so many things if I had real breasts but I suppose you could always tape up your chest when at work and stuff so no one would ever see them.

I have heard nothing good about pills and creams for growing breasts. Just throwing your money away.Alexandra wrote:ahem, a lot of those pills and creams are nothing more than snake oil!
I would like to grow breasts, I am one of those men that sort of has a little bit of breasts. It's great because I'm a CD, I can use all the help I can. I would like to have bigger breasts but there is so much involved. There's hormones, maybe transplants, electro to get rid of hair, I would get facial surgery to match the fem look. I couldn't just get breasts alone, it would have to be a complete package. All of this costs way to much for a goth to afford, so I'll settle for what I got.
Love Amelie
PS If I could I would look like Dolly Parton

Hi Sophie,
I've thought about the growth thing and at one time I would have, but these days I decided no I wouldn't because of all the hormones you have to take, but I would get surgery to have implants that were either a large A or small B.
I'm more of a TG'd person who wants my body to come in line with my minds eye. I don't even wear my forms anymore because they just don't feel right to me. I'm p'd that happened too.
I really liked the feeling of having a chest (fake or not), but it seems that has changed.
FFS is next for me and then after that I'm going to consider the BA (breast augmentation). I decided to give this several years and next year the time runs out for the waiting to make sure it's really what I want to do. I will not get SRS.
Great thread Sophie!

Hi Sophie,
I have been considering having breasts, the desire seems to get stronger every day. I came very close to ordering pills and creams not knowing if they really work. I keep thinking if I were a B cup I could hide them easily but the truth is I have my wife to consider. She is very supportive and buys me things and has been out with me many times. To physically change myself would be crossing a line that she would not be comfortable with. Then there is the question of if I had breasts, what next?. So as much as I'd feel better about myself if I had some cleavage I think it would be selfish considering I have a fabulous relationship already.

Your desire to have your own boobs is understandable. I think we all do. For some of us, permanent breasts would not be convenient. Breast forms are certainly the best compromise.
If you are considering hormones or other drugs, please, please, be VERY careful. Do not, under any circumstances ingest or apply any hormones without supervision from a competent physician trained in endocrinology. The same caution goes for herbal hormone substitutes or so-called equivalents. Those can be even more dangerous, since their dosages and compounding is totally unregulated.
The endocrine system is extremely complex, and it involves a delicate, indeed precarious, balance among several hormone producing glands: the gonads, the different parts of the pituitary, different parts of the adrenals, the thyroid, parathyroid, even parts of the liver, pancreas, and brain are included in this system. Each gland has an effect on the others, and any disturbance of one can cause far-reaching - even fatal results. In other words, don't fool around with the endocrine system.
Meanwhile, enjoy yourself as you are.

Hey Everybody,
PLEASE do be careful and talk with your doctor before taking any kind of hormones or herbals. I know I sound like a mother hen
But I really care about all y'all
*Hugs & Love*

Willy, you touched on my main concern about Ahzz going this route. The thought of him taking horomones makes me very nervous. As you mentioned hormones and herbals are not something to be toyed with. I had a terrible experience with BC pills. I won't go into the details, but I was SCARED very badly. The problem cleared up when I quit taking the pill. Yep, I was under a doctor's care the whole time and still had complications.Willy wrote:Your desire to have your own boobs is understandable. I think we all do. Well, this is a life changing, mostly permanent change.
It shouldn't be undertaken without a LOT of thought and understanding of the dangers. Nor should it be attempted without proper medical guidance and supervision. After all, you MAY just get "lucky" and sprout an average sized set of breasts and then have the trouble of hiding them when yoiu need or want to instead of just slapping on a pair of fakes.
Me, I'm still researching. There are way too many ramifications to do a simple month or two of looking and learning before deciding.

Hiya Girls, If Oswald on Drew Carey can do it why not me. I would love to grow breasts but, where do you put them when you are with your daughter at the beach. It would complicate a lot of situations for me, so I'll stick to the fake boobies for now. Keep smilin ,keep dressin and keep postin.......kristen

would you grow breasts
Ahzz, you're so correct when you say, " This is a life changing, mostly permanent change."
As a lot of you know, I've been on a transition program for 4 years now and unless you are seriously committed to it, beyond just the desire to have breasts, then it all needs careful long thought out consideration.
To get the desired breast growth, one has to also accept everything else which goes with it and be able to live with the emotional and physical changes. The physical changes go well beyond just breast growth and some of them are irreversible. There is a need to arrest testosterone production to effect any noticeable physical changes, estrogen alone cannot effect the desired changes without the help of an anti androgen, so one has to be in a position where a SO can and will accept that our sexual desire will wane considerably or in fact disappear fully. The emotional changes can be quite horrendous as well for some and this is where professional medics are needed to make adjustments to the medication to relieve the situation, so that can be a concern when buying meds off the net or over the counter.
My knowledge from my medical training and from speaking to those who work in the research area concerning herbal hormones is that for a western woman, let alone a male, the dosage needed to effect any real changes is so high that it would have a deleterious effect on the person. There is no credible documented evidence of them ever having had successful results for TG people. Documented medical evidence tells us that herbs do work for Asian women in controlling their menopause problems because they have ingested large quantities of the herbs for the entirity of their life, which makes their systems compatible with using larger quantities of the herbs, such quantities which would be harmful to western society women and men. Herbs taken in the incorrect dosages can be just as harmful as any other medication, so caution needs to be exercised.
I can say with surety that it is all life changing, for me it has been for the better but hormones are responsible for a wide variety of our functions, including our growth and development, reproduction and gender characteristics, so if we interfere with their natural ratios and production then there will be effects which may or may not be desirable. It's not all as simple as some may believe it to be.
Kind Regards.
Sally.

Hi Sally,
~
Tnx for your wisdom on this subject ... there seems to be a psychological tendency, as well as the biochemical issues, in, as you say "Western" people, to disbelieve the "unpopular" or "undesired" messages ...
My thinking is this has quite a lot to do with "education" and "awareness" (or rather the *lack* of it) of the total complexity and mystery of what I would refer to as *Universal Forces, Realities, & the Human Condition*, which of course includes the mysterious, powerful and humanly unfathomable *Spiritual Realm* ...
The popular line of "thinking" (to use the word loosely ... ha ha) suggests that for the cheap and easy "price" of *denying what is unpopular to us, or what we don't want to recognize*, or *what seems to be standing between us and the instantaneous realization of our wildest dreams*, we can Conquer Anything by simply "Saying So"
...
And there will always be another bus full of "what if" arguments and "overnight success" stories coming down the road in just a few minutes to reinforce the "wishful" against the "rational" and the "faithful"
Gotta Love That Hollywood !!!
