Johnny Depp Appreciation.

Post by Curly(SO) »

Just wanted to say Johnny Depp is cool! As CJ didn't want to hijack Calina's thread I thought I'd start a new one for us to share our appreciation

Ed Wood is indeed a great film, Alexandra! Ed Wood reminds me a lot of my hubby, when he is dressed, not just the looks, but the way he is (and of course, his love of angora!).

Love,
Curly(SO) :)

Johnny Depp as a CD

Post by Terri(SO) »

Didn't he do a movie about a Cuban writer (he was not the main character) where he plays a dual role, one as a crossdressing prison inmate and also a Cuban policeman/prison administrator? I looked through the list of credits but I did not recognize the title. Anybody know what it is?
I think his best work is playing the outcast though, like Edward Sissorhands or the pirate.
And, apart from being just too skinny, he's the hottest thing on screen! Those eyes!
Love is a verb. It's a doing thing. No action, no love! - Terri

Hi all,

MG,

You're thinking of Before Night Falls, by director Julian Schnabel, released in 2000. It's a biographical look at Cuban poet Reinaldo Arenas (played by Javier Bardem who, I believe, won an Oscar for that role). In the movie, Johnny Depp plays "Bon Bon," a CDing inmate, as well as Lieutenant Victor. (source: IMDB)

Hi all. :) Ran across this location on TS board, New Beginnings.

http://www.virtualffs.co.uk/gallery.htm

It is pertinent to the Johnny Depp thread if you would like to see what he would look like as a gal, along with Kenau Reeves and Cipriato (sp?). It advertises a service, but the gallery has no strings attached. It is pretty cool what FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery) might do, though as they say, good material to start with goes a long way. :)

Ed Wood was a classic! A story about a movie director in the 1950's who openly admitted that he liked to wear women's clothing... even though the CDing was not the main premise of the movie, I still enjoyed it! =D>

Okay, confession time: I REALLY liked 21 Jump Street back in the day...
