Stacker 2 - INTERESTING side effect!!

Post by Lorna »

I have recently been taking Stacker 2 to enhance my diet & weight loss (I plan to lost at least 10 lbs, by Halloween!) It is known for curbing the hunger cravings and speeding up your metabolism, but ever since I started taking them I have noticed something VERY interesting...

For some odd reason they are also taking away my cravings to smoke. Now right off, I am NOT suggesting that this works for THAT purpose. However, I have cut down on my smoking DRASTICALLY. Yesterday I only smoked THREE cigarettes.

Interesting... :-k

Hi, ladies!

Just a word of advice and I'll be quiet :) . I know that Stacker 2 no longer has ephedra in it, but PLEASE be careful with any metabolism booster if you get in a lot of cardio exercise. I used to use Xenedrine, which contained ephedra and caffeine. Always took less than the recommended dose and it certainly helped with the weight, but it also put me into atrial fibrilation for a few months. I first noticed it when my Polar monitor stopped registering my heart rate during exercise.

Since there were no underlying causes, the doc could only conclude that the increased heart activity from exercise (100 miles per week biking, plus kickboxing classes) in conjunction with the Xenedrine was the cause. I stopped taking the stuff two years ago and have had no recurrence. Most of these supplements are no more harmful than a couple of cups of coffee, but just vigilant to what your body tells you.

Take Care,
Angie

Good points to remember, Angie. These do contain caffiene, and they recommend taking no more than four capsules daily, but I take no more than 2 or 3 a day. Plus, they also strongly recommend that you STOP taking them after a few weeks...

Basically, any diet or exercize program should be approached with caution and followed properly.

Funny you mention Trimspa... my friend Nikki lost a lot of weight with Trimspa this year, just like Anna Nicole!

And the funny thing is my friend Nikki actually reminds me of Anna Nicole as well! Same look, same quirkiness & mannerisms... too funny!!

As for all of these warnings, I will say this girls: ANY diet supplement out there today can be dangerous if it is misused or the directions are not followed. I mean, it's not like there are any out there that are so safe that they can just be munched on all day long like M&Ms. Let's be real.

But as of right now I REALLY like the fact that my nicotine cravings are going away...

But seriously tho, since the cravings for cigs are going away along with the craving to binge, I can kill two birds with one stone...
