Its a cartoon charactor of jean gray of the x-men who became the pheonix and as far as i know she still does have the pheonix inside of her.
The Pheonix is one who is reborn.. i see myself in that way like i have been reborn as Pauline.. its not off that site for which i was spoilt for choice.. i like bein spoilt..lol, and took me ages to figure out how to cut and resize the original pic... i thought long and hard on what to have as my avatar and so i chose that one as more for the symbolism than the charactor..

I've seen it mentioned on another forum that "geocities won't allow linking" and that if you copy and paste the link into your browser's address bar that may work. I dunno if this is true though, the link works fine for me in Firefox and also when I just tried it in IE6.
I seem to remember that some UK ISPs block geocities sites ... but I could have imagined that!
This might work - go to the free trial version of Megaproxy - https://www.megaproxy.com/freesurf/ - and copy the 'avatars' URL into the "Surf!" box. I had to remove the "http://" part of the 'avatars' URL to get it to work.
Best not to use Megaproxy from work PCs - corporate IT departments tend to frown upon people using Megaproxy and the like to bypass their Restricted Sites lists!

I have tried IE, Netscape and Firefox ... all of them don't work, one of them, Netscape, loads the page but it displays a load of rubbish characters whereas the other two just display an error box saying, this page cant be displayed
Well every now and again I like to change my avitar but for now I have been sticking with this one.
