How much would you dress in a "Perfect World"?
Hi girls,
I am sure this has probably been asked and answered a million times, but I just do not recall the results. It is important to me in trying to understand where I am at.
The question is: If you could dress as much as you wanted, and there were absolutely no repercussions. No one minded. Not your SO, not your kids, no one at work, not your friends. It was absolutely acceptable for you to wear womens clothes and makeup? What percentage of the time would you be dressed in women's clothes. Assume a 24 hour clock. So if you sleep in a nighty, that would be 33% of the time assuming 8 hours of sleep.
I am only interested in finding out what YOUR personal preference would be. Remember, in this Poll, no one cares how much you dress feminine.
Thanks in advance.
Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Darlene, Alexandra,
Please allow me to close this apparent loophole. I did specify "women's clothing". They must be clothes designed for and marketed to women. I know some women do wear clothes made for boys, however my intention was to find out if given a choice, how often you would choose to wear women's clothes. I never said you would be a woman. Just that no one would care that you wear women's clothing, just as no one cares if women wear men's clothing.
Funny, it made me think of that commercial where the woman is at home putting on her husbands clothes, and finally his cologne, just as he calls and asks her what she is doing. And she says nothing. I always thought what the public perception would have been had they reversed the roles and he was at home dressing up in her clothes and putting on her purfume? Funny how social rules work. But that is why I specified that no one would care.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth,
There are certain activities that I do where I prefer to wear Men's clothes. So I would wear clothes suitable for those occasions. If suitable woman's clothes fit I would wear them.
Keep in mind that in a perfect world we would be able to wear what ever we wanted. So I would then be dressing perfectly, no matter what I wore. LOL.
Not letting you off easy here, Am I ?

I opted for 45-54, not so much because I would want to spend half my time dressed like President Bush on a brush-clearing vacation, but because there are people in my life whom I love who need the affirmation that they get from having a dad or a lover who sends out the sort of gender-vibe that they need. Of course there are some activities for which women's clothes simply are not very appropriate. I do agree with DonnaT, though, that when it comes to undies, all bets are off.

When I have been presented with this kind of opportunity in the past, I have got bored after three days. Then I switch to my favourite scruffy jeans, old trainers and baggy T-shirt.
If this outfit without a wig could be coupled with a bra and panties then I would vote for 100%. But if its dresses and wig only then my choice of 55% or less stands.

Hi girls,
This has been a fun thread so far. I would like to remind those who said that they would dress in boy clothes to meet the needs of other people in thier lives, that there would be no such need. There would never be an expectation that you would need to be in boy clothes, it would please no one. It is always your choice, depending on your mood.
I beleive I am a transexual, although this will really have to play out, because I have been told that because I have unlimited freedom to dress, that I may just be fulfilling a pent up desire that may fade in time.
Well, today I have to go to a play at my son's school, which means I will have to take off my makeup, and nail polish, and change into boy clothes. And I must say, I feel like I am waiting to be executed. I keep looking at the clock to see how much time I have left. I really dread having to go out and act like man. But hey, for my kids, no problem. I hope that eventually they will reach an acceptance level where this will not be necessary.
Three hours to go.
Love always,
Elizabeth
