Transform Padded Girdle

Post by Kerri »

Hiyer,

I want to make my own version of the padded girdle. I bougt the commercial version back in August and I am not impressed with it.

I plan to base my version on a long leg panti girdle so that the thigh padding can start closer to the knee and progress up to the tope of the pelvis. The Butt padding would remain pretty much as per Transform original.

I dont know what material to make the pads from though.
Has anyone got any suggestions of what might be availabl on the market and how it could be shaped?

I am keen to achieve a realistic feminine figure. At the moment I am
46 /36 / 40 I want to achieve 46 / 36 /46 ideally. All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Hi Kerri:

I have thought about the same thing off and on but haven't tried anything yet. You might try getting some polyurethane foam in 1/4 or 1/2 inch thicknesses. Should be available in craft stores if you have them over there. Then cut an oval shape of the largest area you wish to cover. Then cut a smaller oval of the same shape. Repeat until you have the total thickness you want. Sort of like building a pyramid. It may then be nice to sew it into a pocket of a suitable material but certainly not necessary for a prototype.

I hope I have made my idea clear. It would be much easier to draw it.

although I have never tried it I think an electric knife would help in the shaping of the foam.

Hmm, it just might. :)

If it doesn't, I've allways had luck cutting soft foam (other projects) with one of those "snapp-off" utility knifes. The ones where you can slide it out a little, and snap off the end for a fresh edge. Just ratchet it out to all 6 inches and you have a razor shap straight edge to slice away foam with. :)
Sig? What sig?
OH! THIS Sig! ;)
