Hi girls,
I have given this great consideration because I wanted to make sure I knew what I felt about this, and not just throw out an answer that would be more knee jerk than thoughtful.
I do not find the notion of homosexual relations in and of themselves to be abhorrent, I mean I have always been an open minded person. However, I just simply am not attracted to men. In fact, I find many of my own male traits quite disgusting and a turn off. Like body hair for instance. Another would be body odor, and I am not talking about sweaty gross body odor, but our natural scent. I do not like how men smell. but I am very attracted to how women smell.
I think it is all too easy to get this one simple point confused. It is my opinion that people are not gay or lesbian or bi because they desire sex with a same sex partner, but because they are attracted to people of the same sex.
That is one girl's opinion.
Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth--
I think that's the beginning of a better definition for what? Sexual orientation? Sexual gender?
I know there are some out there who never feel a strong pull one way or the other, but most of us get a strong dose of hormones at around 12 or 13, and suddenly we have a heterosexual orientation! Bingo! It's not vague or kinda-sorta, either--it's a VERY strong drive that suddenly gets introduced into your life.
It seems to me that any changes in sexual behavior after that are learned, in some way. They don't have the same primal drive of the original hormone period. The gay men that I know are attracted to men in a way that I probably never will be, no matter whether I transition or not.
