So I am wondering if this is not also the same. Does dressing feminine, and making an concious effort to act feminine, bring out ones true femininity, ones "anima" that Jung spoke of. The repressed feminine side of us males. That is what I am interested in, and is the subject of this thread.
It only seems natural that dressing enfemme would almost automatically bring out a certain femininity in these guys (or anyone else for that matter. Stop and think about when you were a child and you put on your guns and holsters and cowboy hat. For the moment, in your mind, you WERE a cowboy. And with a red towel or long red scarf tied around your neck hanging down your back, your WERE superman for a while.

Even aside from this, wearing feminine clothes - ESPECIALLY tight undergarmnets and something different than one is used to (a bra is a good example) will force one to move differently. Have you ever TRIED to walk as you usually do (as a male) while wearing high heels? You're forced to take shorter steps and put your weight down differently.

I have a page on my web site that addreses just such things as the 'cowboy' or 'superman' effect. Check it out and see if it bears out what I'm saying. It's located at http://www.geocities.com/senorita_cd/yesterda.htm .

I kind of got the impression that the show was not real sure what they were looking for in the winner until the end. After the second session I had a feeling that David would win as looks and physical attitude were not the primary force. David did have a distinct advantage over the other two as he was married and evidently loved his wife very much. The other two finalist did not have a clue in relationships with a wife. David's answer to the question was heartfelt and did make me cry as well. Don't know if they will have another next year, but it was interesting anyway.
