Another reason we CD? (anecdote)

Post by Barbara »

About three years ago, I went to a restaurant to meet two other people for lunch. One was another CD whom I had met only once before; the other was our mutual acquaintance, a non-CD. (It should go without saying that we two CD's were CD'd at the time.)

We spent most of the time just chatting about this-that-and-the-other. At one point there was a lull in the conversation, and the non-CD (who was sitting opposite us) gave us the once-over, then from out of nowhere he said, "Men's clothes are so dull!"

What more reason do we need?

. . . . . and the seeds of another crossdresser, dormant until then, are germinated! You can bet that the non-CD in this trio will have CDing on his mind and will, in all probability, want to try it after seeing that others are enjoying themselves doing it.

Congrats to you and your CD friend for leaving the impression of LADIES with the non-CDer.

Thanks, Dixie. I seriously doubt we converted him (nor did we intend to), but it's a step. :)

Obviously he sees the fun and variety available in women's fashions that just AREN'T there in men's, otherwise he wouldn't have made the comment he did. You may not have 'converted' him, but with a mindset such as he seemed to have I'd bet you he's really wondering what he's missing out on.

Hi Merinda,

YUK ! I hate those drab colours, when I go out in male mode drinking I always dress as flamboyount as I can. Last night was a pink shirt, most of my shirts have some shine or swirly pattern to them. Some are see-through, anything to break the drabbiness of the 50's wallpaper style shirts that are in fashion. I often get called gay by GG's, but I couldn't care less. My favourite male mode shirt is a silver velvet swirl on a black see-through net.

Here's to colour, and finding the strength to go out en-femme

Love to all

Quick story, since I have no friends!   I took my boat to the lake - again by my self 23' Regal Cuddy Cabin 280HP anyway, wore black nylon gym shorts (yes I wore black panties underneath) quite confusing me!!! I also wore a red; long sleeve blouse, actully it was a bit chilly today Hurricane reminants and all. Point, when I pulled into our dirveway, my son's wife's parents were here and they were making over the new puppy "the kids" had just bought (Damn, living in my basement now two dogs!) Anyway, after they left, my wife made some comment about my wearing that red blouse! My first defense was "hell, it looks like a red shirt with the buttons on the wrong side!" she disagreed, so I just said "screw -'em, they don't like what I wear don't come back!" More for my wife's benefit than theirs as they did not say anything anyway!
What was my point?? Gads. it 1:00am Look what you girls have gotten me doing, I'll have circles under my eyes and and who knows what.
Night all - sweet dreams!

I love girl clothes, they are so sexy and nice looking, guys clothes are normal in color, plain, i have alot of these boring clothes. Most of my guy clothes have permanent stains and even if i have something new, i get it dirty quick!, within one hour somthing gets on them.

Mens clothes not only are in drab and dreary colours they also seem to be made of alot more rough fabric and are no so sunsual when wearing them like the en femme look. also men wear their socks so only to keep their feet warm, we get the benefit of being able to wear tights under out clothes too and keep out entire legs warm so in every sense of the word we get the best of both worlds. I have to admit though even when I am in man mode as we call it I still wear something en femme even it is is a bra and panties, or tights or even a top or jeans there is always something en femme with me as it feels so good.

Just wish I could get the stregth to go out en femme? oh well maybe one day.

Hope everyone is well,

ps hi beauty and cj have not spoken to you girls in ages how are you both?

Love
Claire

My wife and I were in Bloomingdales after Xmas to look at a cuople of sweaters I had noticed.

One was pink and the other purple. Both were cashmere, and get this, they were for men!

My wife thought that they looked great, until we looked at the price.Image

:P I can't say for girls. But my reason for crossdressing is. That I not only enjoy wearing feminine clothing. I also enjoy looking as feminine as possible. So on the day or in this case days that i have to be me. I guess you could say that I dress to the hilt. I dress completely from head to toe and wear full makeup and jewerly. :) As I dress myself and put on makeup I am amazed at the site of becomeing in my thoughts a woman. I do not dress to be sexy or anything else. Just to be me and to fullfill the feminine desire to be as pretty as I can. My wife has become supportive with my need. And she has helped me to put together several out fits to wear. Even though she doesn't like the times that I become Claire. She has accepted Claire.
If any of this makes sense to you all. It is just the way I feel and a need to be.

Love you all
Claire

My reasons for dressing have changed a little over the years. Like many of us, I started in my early teens, when I was fascinated by the look and feel of womens clothing. I was and am fully heterosexual, but I felt that dressing improved my understanding and appreciation of women.

But as I grew up, I discovered that I have the bad luck to be one of those guys who women just aren't attracted to. I'm not ugly, but I do have some traits like a receding chin which make me undesirable and almost invisible to women.

So now I dress and go out mostly to cope with the constant rejection, loneliness, and hopelessness. I pretend that I'm an attractive women, to enjoy a little of the power and confidence they must feel. Actually, it's more than pretending. I *become* Linda as I get dressed, and the moment I step out the door I *am* a good-looking late-thirty-something career woman going about her daily business. It's a tremendous thrill just to be ignored, and of course I do enjoy the rare occasions when I get an admiring glance from a man, maybe a man like me.
