After Halloween my mom let me use some her Nwutrogena foundation makeup and it worked pretty good. I bout some cover girl in a press and liquade. My question is how do us it so that it does not look like your using but well using it?
did that make any sense at all?
Well if any one could help this hairy CDer I would appreat it (short of laser hair surgery)

Hi Jessie,
Now I just use Maybelline. (thank you laser hair removal
) but even before hair wasn't really growing anymore I started using Maybelline. When I did have facial hair growing I also used a very heavy coverup makeup. I remember how it always ended up all over my pillows.
The heavy cover was from a company called Genteel and I also have a powder from them.
When you wear light makeup it doesn't look like you're wearing any when you do it right. Usually that just means practice.
I'm still going to recommend laser.

A lot of Tgirls use Dermablend, but I believe that it has to be set with a powder.
Some Tgirls are suggesting looking at the website http://www.colortration.com/
I've currently been using a concealer and foundation combination, but haven't tried to go out and pass either. But I've been lucky in that I've never had the blue five o'clock shadow to contend with either.

Hi....it seems the beard cover issue is the biggest single concern when going out. Bondo works...but the #150 sandpaper hurts like the devil. The last time i went out, I used Dermablend over the offending areas....then their setting powder. Allowing it all to set for a few minutes, I applied my regular (Revlon) foundation. It lasted the whole night and covered well. Plus, I've been using "Aveeno Positively Smooth" shave gel for two months now.....its not a cure all, but it has reduced somewhat my normally thick facial hair. Another nice site to visit for makeup hints is http://www.jenellerose.com/make_up.htm
Just my two cents...hope it helps

Hi
I use a Revlon Concealer...the kind that you're SUPPOSED to use only under your eyes, except I use it all over the beard area. I follow that with liquid foundation. And the requisite contouring shadow, blush and powder, powder, powder.
Just a thought...also try going a touch darker, Like you're tanned. Its easier to conceal dark colors like beard growth with darker foundations than it is with the light light stuff.
Good luck!

Hi Jessie,
Do you live in the New York area? You can go to most department stores and they will let you try out various shades of MAC concealer, which is what I use. I have found it is the one that holds up best when you are sweating. This is the only high priced cosmetic that I use. Over it, I use Coty loose powder. MAC also has their own stores in Manhattan.
Hugs,
Rita

Dermablend sampler?
Does Dermablend offer a 'sample kit' containing several different shades as Coloration and possible other do?
Dermablend appears to be a bit less expensive, but, does it require a 'setting powder'? If so, that may even things out a bit.
Also, just what is the 'setting powder' for?
ThankX,
Rachel Jean

From Dermablend
"Dermablend's Setting Powder is essential to the wearability and smudge-resistance of Dermablend Corrective Cosmetics™. It is an absolute MUST if full coverage, long-lasting results is desired. The wonderful Setting Powder provides long lasting coverage to all the Dermablend products, particularly the Cover Crème, Leg & Body Cover Crème, and Quick-Fix® Concealer. "
I use "prescriptive's magic powder" (works great) over a foundation by Loreal. I use cover girl concealer under it all.

Ok I am playing with War paint for the first time in my life this weekend. I bought two concealers covergirl and nutregrena. There was no Dermablend at Wal Mart. That is the only store in town within thirty miles. What stores carry Dermablend because the two I bought did not work or I did not use them correctly as my beard area is still seeable.
I am only doing it for fun. but help is needed. Gelinda.

Hi Gelinda,
Dermablend is sold in most major department stores nationwide.
There is a store locator on their website, or if you choose you can purchase it online.

Hi Jessie,
The same thing is true with MAC cosmetics as well...
To find a store near you just visit their website, or again all the products are also available online.
