Hi Janis,

I used to think that the Lord was telling me to stop dressing. And I tried many, many times, and always came back to it. I asked the Lord to help me quit. And I always heard no answer to that prayer.

And this was important to me. Not only was I a born-again Christian my entire adult life, I was an ordained minister and a pastor (though not a successful one) of a church.

Then one day, I tried something different. Instead of telling God what I wanted, I simply asked Him to do what He wanted to do with my crossdressing. I made it clear that He could deliver me from it, or use it to His glory or just let me have fun with it. I felt a strong sense that I had finally gotten the message!

Within a few days, confirmation began to pour in! I began to hear about the tremendous unmet spiritual needs of the transgendered--the drug and alcohol addiction, the prostitution, the high suicide rate!

I began to realize that here was my true calling from God--to tell crossdressers and transsexuals that God loves them, just as they are!

That was the beginning of the New American Christian Church in Los Angeles, CA. You can follow my webpage (see link below) to read all about it.[/url]
Love and respect,
Rikki

Rikki,
May God continue to shed Her blessing on you and your efforts. I know that you are making a difference in the lives of many folks in LA and I might add you are a blessing to us here as well.
Janis,
You are well on your way to understanding and as it is said in Proverbs, "Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom, but with all thy getting, get understanding!"
Love,
