To date we have had 21 Dignity cruises. You said do not leave out any problems we encountered. We have never had a problem. When we set up our first cruise in 1990 we met with officials of Royal Caribbean including their legal counsel. After several meetings, they issued a non-discrimination statement that is upheld on every cruise. On one cruise we did have a "Bubba" type person who tried to cause problems. The ship's security officer told this person he would be removed from the ship at the next port if his behavior continued. This is the only incident we have ever experienced. On one cruise out of Houston, a group of "Christian Coalition Jerry Falwell followers" challenged our group but by the end of the cruise became very supportive. In 15 years over 800 crossdressers including 500 wives and family members have had the opportunity to be out in public enfemme while educating thousands about our wonderful transgender community.

Donna,
Does your wife go out with you when you are dressed? Some on the cruises only dress at night while others come on the cruise enfemme and go off enfemme. On the cruises my wife usually has the conference room on the ship set up for a session where the wives can talk together about the challenges and postives of being married to a CD/TG. This has been very helpful especially for wives who are struggling. I will have a session at the same time with the husbands. Both Peggy and I are trained therapists.
Hugs,
Melanie

Hi Melanie,
We've only been out once in the 29 years she's known of my CDing.
That was in December, last year, to a TG holiday party.
She says she might be able to 'go out' if we aren't around anyone we know, but then backs away from it when opportunity knocks. I want it to be fun for her too, you know!?
We went on a Disney cruise a couple of years ago, so I know she likes cruises.
This year will be our 30th anniversary and we plan on getting to Hawaii, so a cruise this year isn't in the works, unless it was Hawaii

Beauty,
We did a Dignity cruise to Hawaii in 2003 so none are planned. In 2006 we are doing a cruise out of London to Europe. This cruise is being jointly planned with some TG groups in the UK. With 5 Dignity cruises in 2005, we will slow down the number in 2006.
Hugs,
Melanie

Well Melanie, Hope you are proud of yourself, you have got this girl all excited and it seems the same for several of my sisters!!! You have really done great things for our community and I want to sincerely thank you for being in the leadership for our struggle!!! The things running through my head about taking a cruise with my sisters - I won't be able to sleep tonight thinking about what a wonderful experience that will be. I attended the SCC for the first itme in Atlanta last year and it was a thrill a minute - really loved it and met soooooo many wonderful girls! I can imagine what a cruise must be like. I have taken one 10 day down the west coast of Mexico several years ago (with my soon to be ex-wife) I was not were I am now in life, and it was still a blast!! Going en-femme would just be fantastic!!!! Look forward to hearing more from you!
Again thanks for being there for us!

Virginia,
After the Dignity 22 10 day cruise to the Panama Canal on February 25, I will write up a description of our experiences. Each cruise is different but one thing is the same - we have the opprtunity to dress as women without the fear of rejection. On every cruise on the formal night before dinner, we have a formal picture of our group on the winding staircase in the ship's atrium. As we are posed on the stairs, there are usually hundreds of other passengers on the railings also posed to take pictures of our group to show their friends back home. We do attract a lot of "groupies" who enjoy our company. On past cruises two CD's met women who later became their wives. On the upcoming cruise we have one CD who is bringing her girlfriend who she met on a crusie. In all of these cases the woman met the CD dressed before meeting "him".
We list all of our cruises at www.pmpub.com or www.dignitycruises.com.
