Missed my topic - sorry!
Planting a garden huh?? Let's do this - lets take a trip to the mall - all things being equal - I know some of us would not dare go out in public, then do this mentally. You are dressed - female - appropriately - in the mall you pass as female. How you walk, carry yourself. what stores you visit, You stop for a snack, how you eat, hold you drink, sit, stand. Meet a friend, they are dressed or not - body language, head tilted, listening, smiling, perhaps gently touching their arm. All feminine responses. Someone bumps you, your reaction! Now go "en drab" if you will, same mall. Walk is different - intimidate - tools, testosterone. Food, wipe your mouth on your sleeve, sit, knees together, I think not, ankles crossed, I think not. Legs crossed knee to knee, I think not. Legs splayed, ankle on knee - yes yes yes. Meet a friend, slap on the back, hardy hand shake, lots of head nodding, loud laughing, oh yeah!! Some punk kid bumps into you and you grab him and slam him against the wall - "Watch it. punk!!"
Planting a garden??
It is late, I'm tired, but I think you get my point. Even those of us who may feel that we have advanced beyond the meer need to dress, to express our feminine side even when "en drab" will shy away from the physical feminine aspects lest we be considered, dare I say it "Gay." We are still hetrosexual males and walk a fine line in maintaining that precept.
Emotionally and relationship-wise yes we can exude a feminine personnal but physically - challenging if not impossible.
"Tough row to hoe" that garden!

Well, Aeryn: You can tell your other half that it does not work. I have had gardens for years and have a lot of plants in the house. Plus I cross-stitch a lot also.

My cross-stitching is the hard stuff that my wife will not do and she is death to plants so why do these things have the meaning of Female attached to them.

My CDing is something that I do not understand but there is some internal drive that I have to do it or I am not somplete and do not feel complete until I know the clothes and other things are there if I want to do them.

I wish I could be taught how to put on war paint on correctly. Gelinda.
