Hi all,

Okay, Curly; I'll bite. :P What's up with the toes, eh? You're not going to tell us anything that'll make us run, screaming into the night, are you? Do you have claws down there or something? Do you have a Hobbit's hairy toe knuckles? Did some "piggies" go to market and never come back? Do tell!

Love,
CJ

Heh. Is this why you call yourself "Curly," Curly? :P Is your "index toe" curly? or is it just shorter? As you can probably see in the photo below, my own middle toes are "curly." It's something I inherited from my mother but, oddly enough, in her case, it's her little fingers (her pinkies) that are curled (she cannot extend them fully).

I forgot to say earlier...Hobbit hairy toe knuckles... AS IF!!!!
No, just some odd lengths going on. No Curly Toe Syndrome here ##oo##
I may have to post my own picture to dispel some myths about my feet now (and to prove I can paint my nails as well as you!)

My index fingers are ½ inch or more shorter than my ring fingers. If the ratio depends upon prenatal exposure to hormones, which somehow determine our romantic inclinations, wouldn’t that suggest that women attracted to men would have short ring fingers?      :-k
Take care,

Hey Donna,
Me too, and about the same color!!!
CJ, do tell? Six toes on one foot? Well, it looks like six toes, must just be the light - huh!?
Curly, love the art work! Wish I could do that! Marvelous!

My index fingers and ring fingers are of equal length (as far as I can tell)
I'm hetero, and I think I'm going to lean towards Violet's opinion. It's an interesting concept, but...

My ring fingers are longer. Sexual orientation--I don't know what that means.

Like others, I strongly question these studies. Okay, maybe there is a *weak* correlation between finger length ratios and androgen levels. But we already know that the predictive relationship between androgen levels and sexual orientation is very low. Imagine telling a bar full of "bears" that their male hormones are too low!

My index fingers are shorter on both hands to the ring finger by exactly the same length. I am bisexual. Go figure, personally I think this study is tripe. But then again I'm not trying to find answers to sexuality but the scientists are. I know without studys and scientists what my sexuality is and will remain so.

Hugs chickies.

These studies are fascinating, especially the second one! The first one doesn't really count for me because I have no older brothers. For the second study, my RH ratio is about 1.08... (index is bigger than the ring finger) Hmm... :-k
