Could not believe my luck
This was a small incident that happened over 25yrs ago but nevertheless pleasant. In my daytime role as a motor mechanic a female customer left her car. The problem was that one of the side windows had become loose. The lady informed me that she had stuffed a rag between it and the body to keep it tight. The first thing I noticed about the "rag" was that it was pink which made me hurry to remove it. On doing so I could not believe my luck. It was a perfect waist slip with a white lacy hem. At that time getting any female clothing was nearly impossible for me so you can imagine my excitement with this discovery. By the way the customer left the car so I was able to inspect it alone. Needless to say the customer got her car back minus "rag". After a wash the slip was good as new and fitted perfectly. I still have it to this day. Has anyone else had a likewise stroke of luck? All the best, Jane.

Hi all,
I once found a large box full of retro underwear in a charity shop. It contained a dozen pairs of FF nylons, two or three pairs of "bloomer-style" panties, several girdles, a Merry Widow corset, a few longline bras, garters galore, and half a dozen pairs of tap pants. The ancient lady at the counter (who had hair the colour of the ocean at mid-day) wanted $10 for the whole box. I know this doesn't really count as a "find," but the following might. When I was about 13 or 14, I was poking around our basement, looking for a place to hide my "stash." Underneath the staircase was a space where my dad used to make his own wine. Well, I found a plastic bag there that contained a pair of knee-length stretch vinyl high-heeled boots which I guess belonged to a former "live-in" babysitter. We hadn't had a babysitter in almost two years so I figured the prize was a fair claim. The boots fit me like a tight glove. I was in heaven. Of course, they became part of my stash (which my dad's new GF--now his wife of thirty years--eventually discovered). Ah, memories.
Love,
CJ

found items
Hello girls. One time quite a few tears ago I was in a laundromat, the place was empty so I looked into the lost items box and to my delight found a pair of sexy panties. This was at a time when they were hard to get as I did not have the courage to buy my own. They were in my pocket in a flash and I could not wait to get home and try them on. I kept them for quite a long time Bobbie Joe

Hi all,
I consider myself really lucky because I have a loving, supporting wife who wears clothing that fits me and lets me borrow almost everything.
She has a few GG friends who pass clothing along to her and my wife lets me look through what she doesn't want for herself. I have several beautiful dresses, tops, skirts, a black satin slip, jewelry, etc. that I don't think I would have otherwise gotten.
In addition, I have the inside track on items in our church rummage sale, helping my wife who is in charge. I pay for things I keep, usually a bit more than they would have sold for on the official sale day.

In my youth I collected aluminum cans aound our neighborhood, it was a semi-rural area at the time. I was combing one day & I saw a paper bag. I opened it to find a nice pair of pantyhose. For me it was a prayer answered as at the time I couldn't buy them myself. They went home (they were amazingly clean/unused) and they were the first thing I had that wasn't discarded or borrowed at home. I had them many years until my wife found a stash.
I think events as those we have related have actually changed our lives to a degree. Amazing what one little thing can do.
