Teddy Bears

Post by RikkiOfLA »

The teddy bears are coming!

I can hear their favorite song, "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" playing in my mind. I can hear the teddy bears coming. They're pushing a wheelbarrow full of fluff (pillow/teddy bear stuffing), with which to put into my head, replacing all that nasty thought!

They are carrying me off to bed.

Good night everyone!

Anyone else have teddy bears?
Love and respect,

Hi there,

I love HUGE teddy bears, but I was never able to really get into the smaller ones as much. Teddy bears always make me smile though (no matter what size). :)

I always buy them for my wife too. She likes them. :)

OMG!

I love teddybears! I had a huge collection of them, but gave them to charity. I had so many, that once my ex gf said "Who are you, Papa Fuzzy?"

Little did she know that on some days, I wanted to be Mama Fuzzy! :)

:) I have a draw full of my old stuffed toys, bears included. My largest one (about 2 1/2 feet tall) has long since dissapered though.

However, my favories were always an otter and a tortoise! Plushie tortoises are so cute!

I have a Teddy Bear that my Grandmother gave me.

I had a GF who had an old Teddy Bear that was like her confidant, so I wrote a poem for them. Well, my mother read it and somehow got a copy to my Grandmother and, not knowing where the inspiration came from, bought me a Teddy Bear.

I've carried it around with me for about 25 years now. It is one of two items that goes where ever I move, the other being my cowboy hat that I've had since 1977!

I wouldn't be me without them!

I own a teddy bear that I've slept with, but my more common bed companion of late has been one of those squishy pillow things that I found at WalMart, shaped like a pink hippo. It's bright pink, and the shell is some sort of nylon/spandex weave. It's very soft, very cuddly. Sometimes I use it as a pillow (as intended), but more often than not I fall asleep with my arms around it.

Hi all,

So, you sleep with a pink hippo eh, Jaye? Oh well, I've heard worse. Lately, the guardian of my pillow is a sleek and eminently huggable black panther given to me by a friend. He wears one of my black lace garters as a collar. It suits him to a T.

Aaahhh, it's a plush world, indeed!

Love,
CJ
