Back into the comedy saddle I go!! :)

Post by Lorna »

Ever since I started working full time including weekends, I haven't had the chance to performed any comedy shows since last November. However - as of this May that will change. 8)

I have jotted down loads of new material since I last performed. I think it's time for me to get bitten by the comedy bug once again!

1. I had so much fun up on that stage - I felt so alive!!
2. Folks actually really liked my performances, even when I would tell people to be "brutally honest".
3. I really miss it.

So I told them at work that starting in May I can no longer work Sundays as it conflicts with my "other job". So back in the saddle I go!! =D> Time to make 'em laugh!! rotf

Lorna,

That's great! Doing something you really like, and get paid for it, too!

How often do you plan to perform? Every week if you can, or once or twice a month?

Please let us know where you will be performing. I live on the opposite end of the state, but once in a great while we visit some friends/relatives closer to the city, so there may be a slight chance of catching one of your performances some day.

Hi Jadeanne,

Actually I'll be performing about once or twice a month to start (depending on how many gigs I can land) but I hope to slowly build that up in the near future. I will keep you posted!!

Tell a good one (or more) Lorna!

But no need to tell anyone to be brutally honest, you'll know.

Good luck and good times!

Good for you, Lorna! I'm so glad you can get back to comedy. It's such a kick if you can do it well, and being away from it had to hurt. Get your name back out there!

That is great news Lorna, if it happens I could pass on the info to my best friend who lives out there and he might come to a show if he can I think he would love it.
