Last week, business may have been slow, a close personal friend passed away, and I was having major problems at my job.
However....
THIS week, business picked up (three new clients!!
And then tonight, I helped to rid my area of a very suspicious character at 2am! (There have been a few reported burglaries in my area in the past month) Anyway, here's the story:
I was outside smoking a cigarette (yes I was dressed, and yes it was almost 2am, hey I have Tuesday off) and a dark colored Honda Civic pulls right up in front of my door. But apparently the driver must have seen me because as soon as I step further out to get a better glimpse of the car , he cuts his lights off. So I got on my cell & I phoned the local precinct & asked them to have a police car to just drive past the area. Then as soon as I try to appraoch the car, he suddenly peels out.
But I caught the bastard’s plate # and he pulls into the parking lot across the street. I give the cops his exact location & not even a minute later, I see a police car zoom into the lot where our friend just entered. I waited just long enough to walk outside to see the police officer putting handcuffs on the SOB.
Heh heh!!! I am so glad I’m taking the police test next month.
Okay, so we all agree that I deserve a major slap whenever I start to moan about "how bad things are". Many of you have told me that things could be worse, and I should have listened better.
But in my defense, we're all human. We do not always use our best judgment, especially when our emotions kick in. But at least I now realize that what many of the other gals here have telling me is indeed true.
Thanks again, ladies! I love you gals.
