My first time

I think I first had desires to CD stemming when I was a kid and would try on my sister's pantyhose. However I did not ever fully crossdress (i.e. wig, makeup, outfits) until recently and even then only because I told my wife about my longtime desires and she encouraged me to dress. She helps me pick out outfits and showed me how to apply makeup and helped me pick out a wig. I did go out once enfemme (about 6 months ago) at night. Most of the night went well until the end when we stopped at a pick-up window at a restaurant and the girl that came out to our car saw me sitting in the passenger seat (my wife was driving) and after bringing us the food went inside and was lughing out loud to her coworkers (my wife read their lips). I guess that discouraged me a bit (and also my wife as she didn't like to see me made fun of) as I haven't gone out since. Maybe I'll get the courage to go out again sometime but since then, I resumed dressing enfemme only occasionally (within my 4 walls of my house). That's my summary. Thanks.

I am curious how many years did you repress the desire to dress fully?

Thanks for the welcome. I waited until my late thirties before crossdressing. Believe me, I spent a lot of years fantasizing about it but it was my wife that finally made this a reality. Before I met her I didn't even have an idea on how to put on makeup.

Steffie, Congratulations on picking such a wonderful wife. Does she have a older single sister?
Have you gone back to that place you got insulted by? Going out dressed to any place where there is teenaage girls is risky, sorry you did ot have a good espiereince. Keep dressin, keep smilin and keep postin. Kristen

Don't let others disturb you, when you bring your fantasies to real live. Let them laugh - they had a little bit of fun on your cost and this hurts.
But it is nothing compared to the fun and satisfaction you get when dressed.

Believe it or not my wife took it harder than I did. I haven't gone outside en-femme since that time. I think I will eventually someday. My wife and I haven't gone to that place since it happened (not even in drab for me lol). Thanks, girls, for your kind words of encouragement.
