Crossdressing is healthy

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

Besides being an outlet for me mentally and emotionally, crossdressing in a way has been good for me physically. What I mean by this is that for a long time I have been struggling to loose weight (getting under 200 lbs has been my Mendoza line). Last Nov I got oh so close (about 203 lbs) when I stopped crossdressing for while (long story) and my wife moved my stuff to storage. I then proceeded to gain weight (getting to 220 lbs). However, since June, I started to exercise and lost a little weight, getting back under 210 lbs. At this point, I then started to crossdress again (moving my stuff back in our house). Since then I have been exercising more and when dressed as Steffie, I don't seem to eat as much (strange, isn't it?). The weight has been coming off faster. I got weighed last night as Steffie and I'm down to like 198 lbs (but the breast forms may add a lb so I wanna call it 197!!!! :) ). Thus being Steffie wants me to exercise more in male mode and eat less portions. I cook for my wife but don't eat too too much myself. Right now I'm in a 14 dress size (smallest I ever had). With some more discipline, maybe I can get to a 10? [-o< That would probqbly mean getting to around 175-180, which months ago would nave been merely a dream. Now I need to bear down more. [-o< Thanks for reading my long post, girls. Just wanted to share that.

Good going Seffie! =D> Congratulations. It's good to have a goal, ain't it.

Been trying to lose weight myself. Went from 286 last Aug to 230 in Jan. But it's been hard to make and maintain further loss. Made it to 221 last month but then went back up this month. Trip to Texas did me in I think, since I couldn't get to the gym and ate too much.

But I am determined!

Hi All,

I too eat less due to cross-dressing. I think it is due to the need to feel comfortable in our skin. In order for that to be a reality there are certain basic needs that have to be met. IMO cross-dressing meets some of those needs that if they are not adequately met, we will attempt to meet them in other ways. Food being one of the things often relied upon.
I am not including those who are affected with sugar diabetics in this equation, as I don’t know much about that.

May your cross-dressing continue to meet those needs for you?

Hi all,

first - congrats for loosing weight.
But i would go bit further and state: yes, crossdressing is healthy for me.

I also started to loose weight and currently I am at about 195 lbs. More important is, that I feel more lucky and therefore I improved my mental and emotional power. So my psyche is in a better and more balanced condition.

I also started to take more care of my body in general. Maybe this is caused by the fact, that I can now accept my male body better. Before I returned to CDing I neglected my body, maybe caused by transgender issues - I was not lucky with that male body and therefore I did not take care of it. This has changed now. I have learned, that I can be very close to be feminine, which is closer to my feelings and emotions, even I am of male sex. As I am more balanced now, I also could easier accept my male body and started to "treat" it more carefully and pay more attention to its needs.

Hugs,

Congrats, ladies to all you who are losing the weight! I quoted a study that was out last year and I don't remember the exact figures but they quoted the average increases in female weight from the 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's and today (2003-4) It has been going up every decade and if memory serves, today the average female weights in at about 174 pounds. May not be good for them, but for us is sure makes it that much easier to pass, size wise!!!! And it makes finding clothes a bit easier too!!
Diet and exercise girls, diet and exercise!

PS: You gotta read "Zippy's" post on the "Gospel of Thomas" Jesus possibly said, ..."you make the male and the female into a single one. so that the male is not male and the female not female.... then shall you enter the Kingdom of Heaven."

Hey Sis.

No diet here ever. A change in eating habits…. Perhaps…. But no diet…. For this Girl.

PS. Funny things happen when you begin to see male and female as the same. The females don’t like it, yet they want equality. Go figure. They see you as attempting to enter into their territory, possessive little darlings.

Love you Sis.

Hey girls,

Some nice reponses. Thanks. The average female weight is now aroun 174 lbs? Very interesting facts, Virginia. I never would have guessed that in a million years. Really increases the motivation that much more. At least the weight is in reach. If only the average height were about 6 ft, then I would be on easy street! :-k

Sorry Steffie, but can't resist, when I glanced at your last entry, being that it is late and I need my beauty sleep, I saw, "I'm easy on the street!"
Say what????? Glad I reread it

Congratualtions on the weight loss.

I had the thought that looking nicer en femme would motivate me but that didn't happen. It took the onset off weight related injuries to get me going.
