little sister
sometimes uncovering these memories can be so weird. I can remember for years my parents telling the story that when I was born my older sister ( 2years older) wanted a sister so bad that she used to dress me up as a girl. Over the years the story has changed somewhat. Now when they tell it they say she dressed me in towels and no mention of dressing me like a girl.
I think over time my procilivites for Cding became a little apparent to them and they switched the story. not sure if being dressed by my sister had anything to do with the fact that when I was 8-10 I started dressing in my mothers girdles that she left in the bathroom. I would say that is a bit to coincidental, but who knows.

Dressing, not depressing

I don't know just where I'm going with this, but I remeber when my mother caught me dress in her cloths when I was 13. She didn't say much except TAKE OFF my good dress. She handed me a white blouse and a plain stright blue skirt and all she said was you can wear these. That was a long long time ago.

little sister
I have met a few "older sisters". some resent having a younger brother, others dressed them up in their old dresses. Unless a boy had other rough boys at age 5-6, he would play with and humor his older sister.
Happiness is dressing to your innermost desire and feeling.

dressing up
Carol Ann,, the same thing happed to me when I was around 12. I would wear my aunts clothes and she got annoyed at me wearing her NEW stockings and putting runners in them. I didnt know she knew I was doing it till she told me to stop wearing her good things and she would leave some things for me.
I was so embarrassed I pretty much cooled it for a while.

My older sister loved seeing me in dresses, gave me the things she had outgrown. She would even do my makeup- said she love having a little sister even if it was just pretend. My fav outfit was her old girl scout uniform.
Just starting to explore my feminine nature- am very shy meek and demure. Addicted to looking and acting ladylike. Still have so many questions about exactly who I am- have so many mixed emotions about my gender issues.

Mary Jane andCarol Ann,
Sisters are great and they get better as the years go by.
Mary Jane maybe a private converstion with your sister will bring about more information that might be helpful to you.
Mine is very supportive and helpful, and I would not have as much confidence in myself if it were not for her support and assistance

My 7 yo daughter used to dress up my 4YO son and I have the pictures to prove it. I had an extended illness as a child of 6 and my mother was a seamstress so I remember being used as a dress dummy a number of times.
I don't know if this is relevant to this post but i also remember being told I should have been the girl many times in front of my 3 year older sister... I can imagine how she felt.
