On Saturday, a silky 2 piece floral print dress from a thrift store for $4 (see my post in "What Are You Wearing Today").
Yesterday, at another thrift store, 3 tops - 2 for my wife who gets to wear them first, including a silk one, plus a blue paisley one for me, all for $3.50.
Several thrift stores on Monday are having everything half price and we are planning on going to at least 2 of them.

On Friday, a pair of clunky oxfords with a 2 1/2 inch heel. They are high enough to be interesting, but still low enough that I can wear them in guy mode and just be on the limit of my comfort zone.
I rarely get to wear high heels (if these are considered high) so it is curious that they feel so natural. I think I was a little disappointed that I didn't feel awkward at first. But, that did not take away from enjoying wearing them on Saturday.
I have just set up a free web page to hold a few photos - this should be a link to the shoes

The cutest pair of heels!
Black, white, and grey tweed fabric... pump style with closed back, open sides, and peek a boo toe, with cute black flower on top. 3 1/2 inch spike heel. So classy and sexy at the same time!
Got them on sale at Mervyns. Wish I had a cam to post a pic.
If you happen in a Mervyns in your area, they are Ellemeno brand, shoe name is "Icy".
I am such a sucker for shoes! LOL

I got such a deal today!!
The clearance sales are on right now, and Foleys was having a big one.
I shopped around looking for some new jeans and came across a table with a bunch marked down for clearance.
I found a pair of Levis 515 low rise, boot cut jeans in my size (Misses 12) for $19.99. I already have a pair of these and love the way they fit and look, so seeing a $44 pair at that price suited me fine.
When I went to the cashier, she rang them up and they had been marked down to $12.99!!!
I only wish I had found another pair!

I went shopping with mt wife today. First to Talbots where she and I walked around the shop separately, looking for some new slacks for her. All those women and not one stare
She then talked me into going over to Dress Barn (for women) where she found several nice sweater and pants outfits.
I picked up a gypsy style crushed velvet skirt, a stretch cami and a button up long sleeve blouse, all in matching/complimentary colors to put together a nice outfit. Ohhh, I love the skirt.

Today, at work, I needed to work under a machine that had broken down. As I leaned down, my backside got caught on a rear cover plate that had been put aside and it ripped my pants!
I was wearing satin panties and was immediately terrified that they would show. The tear was only about an inch long and a clean straight rip. It was also high up and my shirt tail covered my secret.
On the way home tonight I stopped at Kohl’s to buy a new pair of drab pants and got one and a second at half off.
A quick peek at the women’s close out rack and there was a really pretty pleated floral print skirt marked $34 with a red tag at $15 and another over it at $7. There was also a pair of khaki short-shorts marked the same way. The rack was marked 50% off.
When I got to the register and they were rung up... $3.50 for each! What a steal! Even the check out woman was surprised.
I also got a Vanity Fair strapless bra for 40% off. What a great end to a stressful day.

a nice pair of shoes with block heels (40 mm/1.6 inch)
and a pair of pin-striped (women's) trousers, which should go well with my pin-striped (red stripes) dark blazer.

I went on an unexpected after church lunch and shopping trip with my wife.
After lunch at a mall restaurant, we walked around the mall.
We went into Penneys and she was looking for a pair of slacks. She found a pair she liked and got them.
We looked at a clearance rack and she helped me pick out 2 short floral print skirts, one ivory the other black, and a green lace trimmed camisole with a built-in bra. Everything on the rack was marked down to $1.77 US (my price range). The original price on one of the skirts was $35 - now that was a sale.
