I'm back , but not fully recharged

Post by Merinda »

Hi girls ,

I have had a fantastic holiday in the sun at Coolangatta , I have soaked up the rays and become nicely tanned.
Its back to work now and normal routine , on holiday I puchased 2 lovely skirts in Tweedheads that fit me perfectly and look great but unfortunatly I still cant get interested in proceeding with wearing them and doing photo's.

Some of you may remember that this flat feeling has hung over me since May when I fulfilled a major photographic desire to be a schoolgirl at the school sign.

I am not thinking of quitting , I have a fair amount of clothing that I want to photograph but I still cant seem to throw this drained feeling.

Hi Merinda,

Welcome back. I understand this wasn't a typical away and come back you were considering other things about dressing.

I think you're coping well and it's good to see you.

Welcome back, Merinda. I can understand why you'd be puzzled at a lack of interest in something that you have worked so hard for in the past--another identity that fits for you. I trust that you'll find answers.

Thanks for the support ((G))

At the moment I'm suffering "post holiday disorder", I am discontented with my everyday routine and feel the need to detatch myself from it , from past experience this lasts about 3-6 weeks .

I have also suffered "post holiday depression " in the past , this is a more severe effect .

My physical self has returned from holiday but my spirit is still on holiday , once I get myself occupied with a good project the time will seem to go fast and I will return to normal state of mind .

I haven't done a Merinda session since July so I"m now due , I have a lot of un-worn clothing so I have plenty to choose from.

Hi Merinda, sounds a little like your desire to move past your schoolgirl outfits to something more mature and your continued love for your schoolgirl clothes are in conflict.

All I can suggest is to go with your instinct and not over-think your next dressing and photo session. Feel it-do it.

Hi Donna ,

No not at all , it was just that living out a long term fantasy put me on such a high level that I feel that any future venture would not be at the same level.

I felt like I had reached the top of the hill and I cant go higher

I put some clothes on last night and I'm getting myself back in order , I'm going to a photo outing in a few weeks.

The schoolwear will remain in limited service until mid/end 2007.
The immature casualwear will be used in private photosessions .
A more mature Merinda will present herself at Celestes social get-togethers.
