Hi everyone, :)

So I didn't want to start using it until Sharon(SO) got back and I'd told her. I try my best not to do anything new here without consulting with her first. Yes, even saying my name if it's different. ;)

Things have been progressing well with my decision I posted about a while ago. One of the things you have to decide is what will you name be. I was totally cool with the name I've been using, but some of my GG girl friends told me it would be ok, but I should think of another name. So now Beauty will be my nickname, so anyone who wants to keep calling me that can.

CJ and I talk on the phone a lot and she tried Gracie, but is back to calling me Beauty, which is totally cool with me because I am and always will feel like Beauty is my name. :)

The first thing I thought about when I read your new name was Burns and Allen. It'll probably be a while before I stop thinking "Say goodnight, Gracie." "Goodnight, Gracie". :mrgreen: It's a pretty common question for a TG to be asked, I guess, but . . . how did you choose it? :)

Hiya Beauty/Gracie. :) I'm kinda glad you decided to ID as Gracie on this forum too. It makes it a little easier, though I will likely think of you as Beauty first for some time to come!!!! Have you considered what your full name should be? :-k

Gracie,

You're right; I have been back to calling you "Beauty," lately. I hadn't even noticed. :oops: I won't apologize, though; you'll always be "Beauty" to me. However, I'll make an effort to keep Gracie in mind. :mrgreen:

In my own defense, whenever my friends Carole and Marie mention you, they always call you "Beauty," so I hear that name much more often than "Grace." To me, both are super-fine as each--both name and nickname--capture something about the person you are.

That's a big decision to make. Gracie it will be, from now on, and it's a fine name. I'm with Carolynn--any middle name yet?

CJ, I promise, promise, promise that it doesn't bother me at all that you call me Beauty. :) I kind of feel that those who call me Beauty will be people who really know me, ya' know? :) Hearing you say it is so familiar and comfy. :) I promise one more time that I don't mind and actually prefer ou calling me Beauty. :kisscheek: (--)

It's really ok if people keep calling me Beauty. :) My ID will probably stay the same. I'm not sure yet. I have so many posts that refer to me as Beauty that it would be weird to see my name next to older posts and me signing it Beauty, but see Gracie next to it, you know? :)

Well my name is actually Grace and there are memories there for two reason from my past. So I just decided to go by Gracie. :) That I don't know where it came from. :)

Thanks for the well wishes with my new name. It'll be the name I have for the rest of my life and I actually could see it on my drivers license, passport, social security card and everything else I'll see daily. It will be weird to see my other name eventually disappear.
