breast forms

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

breast forms

Post by Absaroka »

someone here wrote about wearing their breast forms to bed sans bra and just using m3edical adhesive to keep them on. How is that done? Right now I just use birdseed and a bra but this sounds interesting.

Thanks

Andrea,

I have not personally tried this due to personal reasons between myself and my SO, but from what I have read it is quite possible to have attachable forms that one can wear for extended perions of time with the simple application of a good quality adhesive designed for just that purpose.

Keep in mind that for the mainstream companies that make and sell forms the whole idea of a form was something to help post op women who had mastectomy surgery to return to their everyday activities and not feel quite so out of sorts because they are missing something. If the form is attached it is less likely to move during more strenuous activities such as running or swimming.

As far as sleeping in them I would have to believe that as long as the forms are not pulled excessively they would tend to stay in place without to much problem. But there again I can't say for sure because this is something that I have not tried myself. But I think you wil find that if you read some of the literature on the issue you will find all the information that you need to make a decision for yourself.

You might try the above link they seem to have an intereest in helping tg's find what we need. Just keep in mind that good quality forms that can be attached are expensive.

I've slept in a bra hundreds of times, making sure I woke up early enough to take it off before my mom woke up. I don't have any breast forms, though, and shudder at the chaos that would ensue with my family if I tried to glue them on. I enjoy the feeling of a bra more anyway, so I'll stick with it.

I've slept with mine in a mastectomy bra.
Every place that sells breastforms recommends that you do not sleep with them.
I can't remember if I read why, but it might be more of a problem if you are inclined to sleep ON them, as on your tummy.
I also seem to remember that these same places recommend a set of those fabric or foam forms if you want to sleep with them on.

The breastfrom store is a good place for info.

One issue I can think of with wearing breastforms is the increase of perspiration and heat between the form and your chest.
You might want to consider rinsing them off every morning after sleeping with them.

Its possible. You need surgical adhesive which is normally available from the same place you get your forms from.

The life of the form will be shortened by sleeping in them, but what the heck, we wear them for fun. So it doesnt really matter if they wear out quicker.

My old ones went all mishaped, after I spent several nights in them.

You'll need to watch your personal hygiene. You will sweat under them and if your not careful you could irritate the skin. The effect is a bit like wearing a big Elastoplast for too long.

I have day forms and night forms now, they are cheap enough these days.

Have fun!

sleeping in forms

Post by Ellie »

Hi Andrea, I love sleeping in mine. I first went braless which required the full application of glue (on the forms& your skin) and after the 2 day weekend I developed a slight rash and my skin was quite itchy. But the way those babys swayed and flopped around, it was worth it! That was 2 yrs ago and since then the backing on the forms has torn slightly so they now require my underwire bra for support. But over time the adhesive build up allows for just your own body heat to warm them up to allow for ample stick.Sometimes I just add a touch of adnesive to my breast and to the form ,( I no longer have to do them 100%). Sleeping in them can be uncomfortable at times but so does your pillow! I bought the double D's and yes I just love em! Peace in joy, Ellie
