Nightgown problems!!!
I'm shattered!!! I've busted the right straps on 2 of my favorite nightgowns in the last 2 weeks. They are so beautiful too. They were size 14's, its weird cause recently I've started wearing size 22's cause of the longer flowing feel. I'm not sure if its my broad shoulders or if its just the way I'm sleeping. Any suggestions?

I've had that happen also. The gown can easily get twisted around the waist as one tosses and turns during the night, pulling the strap tighter onto the shoulder.
I simply got a needle and thread out and sewed it back on.
Also, seems all my nighties have a plastic adjustment slide on the straps, and these things tend to break easily. Once they do I remove them and sew the strap at the proper adjustment length.
If the gown fits too tight across the chest or under the arms, then you'll know it's too small.

Donna,
You are so right, those little plastic slides are junk!! I wonder if GG's have the same problem with them?? I know that when I go shopping for slips, night gowns and even bras, that is the first thing I look for is the adjustment slide. If it isn't sturdy looking and metal - don't buy it!
