The Color Brown & Cowboy Boots

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

The Color Brown & Cowboy Boots

Post by Lorna »

This fall, ladies, you will see the color brown EVERYWHERE. Tops, skirts, you name it.

So if you have any brown items girls, keep them handy & ready to wear! Brown is one of the official "hot" colors for this fall, as well as dark red, dark teal, & yes... purple!!!

Oh and PS - cowboy boots are back with a vengeance!!
Live it. Love it. OWN IT.

I do have one brown outfit, one purple and one maroon. Now, if I only had shoes to match

All right!!!!! I went out last Saturday night to the "local hang-out!" and that is what I wore, a slightly above the knee, tight, knit brown skirt and a tannish brown flowered blouse. It is important for us to keep stylish! Most of the GG's there were lesbian, but unfortunately they dressed like (everybody stay calm) they dressed like most GG's do. Jeans and various pull-over tops with "tennis shoes." I was definitely "over-dressed" but that is me - conservatively sexy!
As a side bar, the girl I went with was asking why no one wanted to dance with us and I said it was one of two things: One, they are either gay or lesbian and they know we are just "garden variety crossdresser" or because virtually everyone there was paired or tripled up and we both passed - the guys were gay and did not want to dance with a GG or the girls, lesbians were all with their SO's and dancing with another GG would be totally unacceptable.
We had fun anyway, well at least I did!!!

Hi Lorna ,

Brown made its comeback in Aus' earlier this year which would have been our Autumn (Fall) , pink was also popular at the same time.

Brown skirt + pink top etc , the shops were a mass of pink and brown.

I've always liked chocolate brown.

Today it is a maroon knit turtleneck dress, maroon tights & strappy heels.

I'm all in brown today...set off with a gorgeous turquoise necklace and earrings to match. I'm wearing a long chocolate brown cord skirt bought in Italy last year and chocolate brown top. I'm wearing chunky 3 inch tan knee high boots with them (I thought cowboy boots were sooo last season, Honey  )
Virginia, I really must have a word with those GG's in your part of the world...

Curly,
Brown with a turquois necklace -- that is so nice!!!! They really go well together, however for us blonds, well at least for this one it does not work!
Went back to the "hangout" again last night and it just did not change, GG's = lesbians, or even the few straight couples (or as they are referred to by the regulars there - "tourist!"). Jeans, torn sweat shirts, but hey it is there thing!
